From October 13 to 16, 2019, the ACBSP accreditation organization conducts an official on-site visit to evaluate the Business Administration at the Hoa Lac Campus of FPT University.
The official ACBSP accreditation team is to be welcomed by FPT University’s University Management Board, faculty members, students and alumni of the Faculty of Business, as well as staff members of relevant departments at the Hoa Lac campus.
The preparation for ACBSP’s on-site visit to FPT University (Hoa Lac campus) includes evidence files, participants in interviews by the ACBSP accreditation team, preparation of facilities, equipment, and logistics for the team.
To be granted accreditation, FPT University has to demonstrate excellence in ACBSP’s 6 standards, 27 criteria, and 61 sub-criteria on Leadership, Strategic Planning, Student and Stakeholder Focus, Measurement and Analysis of Student Learning and Performance, Faculty and Staff Focus, and Educational and Business Process Management.
By becoming a member and pursuing ACBSP accreditation, FPT University hopes to continuously improve the quality of the Business Administration program in particular and of Economics programs in general, towards world-class education quality, comparable to other business schools in the world.
FPT University is the first University in Vietnam to be rated 3 stars by QS Stars (in 2012) in the categories of Teaching, Employability, Facilities, and Social Responsibility. In 2018, FPT University received the ICT Education Award from the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization. FPT University also received the “Excellent University in Education” and “Influential University in Asia – Pacific” from BrandLaureate for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019.
In addition, FPT University has become an official member of prestigious education organizations and networks such as CDIO (2017), AACSB (2018), and AUN – QA (2018).
| ACBSP is the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. This is one of the most prestigious accreditation organizations for business programs in the world.
FPT University officially became a member of ACBSP in 2016. In 2019, FPT University has completed the Self Study Report for the Business Administration Program, which has been approved by the ACBSP Council. An accreditation team from ACBSP shall conduct an on-site visit in the Hoa Lac Campus from October 13 to October 16, 2019. |
