Held on February 22-23, the FPTU GenAI Day 2025 technology event, organized by FPT University, inspired 4,000 attendees, including 1,800 high school students.
FPTU GenAI Day 2025 is a large-scale technology event designed to create an innovative space for high school students, university students, teachers, businesses, and technology enthusiasts across the country.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Vice Rector of FPT University, emphasized: “As educators, we cannot remain on the sidelines of AI development. AI is making leaps beyond previous technological advancements with its ability to self-learn and produce unpredictable outcomes. If students do not gain early exposure to AI, they may struggle to meet future demands. We hope FPTU GenAI Day 2025 will be the starting point for many upcoming activities, helping students enhance their awareness and set clear learning goals in this new technological era.”
The GenAI technology exhibition, a highlight of the event, attracted significant attention from participants. It showcased cutting-edge solutions and products from leading technology companies and research groups from FPT University. Attendees had the opportunity to experience groundbreaking AI applications firsthand, including Drone Soccer—a fusion of drone technology and esports, offering a dynamic and modern competition experience; intelligent image analysis technology that enhances facial recognition and security management; and AI applications in education, healthcare, and finance that are currently being deployed in Vietnam.
The event also featured a series of in-depth AI workshops with participation from top experts in AI, cloud computing, and software technology. Key topics discussed included AI applications in student leadership and extracurricular activities at high schools, AI-driven startups, and AI training programs for high school students in Central Vietnam (Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam). These sessions provided not only specialized knowledge but also opportunities for students to directly engage with experts and businesses, offering valuable career guidance for the future.
