The Soulmade Creative Fair 2025, hosted for students, staff, and faculty of FPT University, features an array of captivating handicraft and culinary stalls.
Organized annually by the Student Affairs Office at FPT University, the Soulmade Creative Fair provides a space for relaxation after intense study and work schedules. This year’s fair, held from January 8 to January 10, includes hands-on craftmaking activities designed to offer participants practical experiences and spark creativity. The event also invites attendees to indulge in shopping and culinary delights.
Vibrant Handicrafts and Culinary Stalls
Soulmade Creative Fair 2025 boasts over 15 booths, including 9 handicraft stalls showcasing ceramics, scented candles, natural essential oils, hand-painted artwork, embroidery, creative decorations, and stationery. Meanwhile, 6 food stalls offer traditional delicacies such as bánh cốm (green rice cake). Vibrant displays of fruits and vegetables like apples, tomatoes, oranges, grapes, and carrots, adorned with fresh flowers, create a colorful and lively market ambiance.
Engaging Workshops
One of the highlights of this year’s fair is the “New Mirror, New Me” workshop, where participants can personalize their own mirrors. Registrants receive a mirror kit and a set of coloring pens to design and complete their creations. Thuy Linh, a K19 student majoring in Multimedia Communication, shared her excitement:
“This Soulmade fair has been an unforgettable experience. I loved the creative atmosphere, especially the interactive activity of decorating my own mirror. It was not only a chance to showcase my creativity but also to craft a meaningful personal item.”
Unique Exchange Zone
The fair’s standout feature is the Mottainai Zone – A Secondhand Exchange Market, where students can trade pre-loved items such as books, stationery, clothes, or small accessories. Items are assessed based on condition and value, and participants receive a “power card” with tally marks corresponding to their items’ worth. This card serves as a currency to exchange for other items at the market.
Building Connections Through Creativity
The Soulmade Creative Fair is more than just an event; it’s a platform for students to connect with the community and immerse themselves in the art of crafting and traditional cuisine. This initiative is part of FPT University’s ongoing efforts to provide its students and faculty with relaxing and enriching experiences outside of academic and teaching pursuits.
