On May 29, FPT Schools held a STEM festival in Quy Nhon with many useful activities for students at all levels. The festival also included a workshop to share STEM teaching experiences.
A workshop on STEM teaching experiences for high school students was organized at FPT Quy Nhon High School on the afternoon of May 29 as part of Fschools STEM Day 2022. It attracted the participation of many teachers of FPT Schools in particular and Binh Dinh province in general.
In the workshop on STEM teaching experiences for high school students, Dr. Chong Su Li, President of the STEM Center of Petronas University of Technology (Malaysia), Dr. Dang Van Son, Vietnam STEM Alliance, and MSc. Le Ngoc Tuan, Founder of Maker Viet, and teachers at FPT Schools, all share insightful information.
The definition of STEM education, how students can approach and learn STEM properly, the connections among STEM fields, the process of organizing STEM teaching activities, the process of developing STEM lessons, and how to train STEM using the club model were all topics covered in the workshop for teachers. Teachers from FPT Schools shared information about the STEM initiatives being used in the system as the event came to a close.
The seminar on STEM teaching experiences for high school students helps to provide new perspectives and practical, thorough information about STEM education so teaachers may deliver more engaging lectures that motivate students of all ages to pursue STEM fields of study.
In addition to the workshop for teachers, Fschools STEM Day 2022 offers a variety of experiential activities for students to support the STEM movement, including the final of the Fschools Stempetition 2022 tournament, STEM experiential activities for students, and exhibiting STEM products made by FPT Schools’ students nationwide. The Director of the AI Research and Application Center, FPT Software Quy Nhon, the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, the Binh Dinh Department of Education and Training, the Binh Dinh Department of Science and Technology, and teachers and students from Quy Nhon all took part in the program.
The activities for students in Fschools STEM Day 2022 took place in a joyful and bustling atmosphere, attracting a lot of interest from them and serving as a powerful inspiration for them to develop their interdisciplinary learning skills and carry out projects to address real-world issues.
