At the event, organizers required contestants to use a standardized set of basic equipment including control boards, motors, sensors, and apply their knowledge and skills in programming and mechanical structure to design robots that solve the competition challenges.

Here, participants made creative efforts to construct unique robots and maneuver devices through the competition’s challenges. Ultimately, the FPT3DN.Robotown team from FPT High School Danang excelled, winning the championship of FTC Vietnam 2023 – 2024. As a result, the student team from Danang will represent Vietnam in the global finals ‘First Championship’ scheduled to take place in the USA in April.

Events like FTC Vietnam contribute to building a community of young technology enthusiasts and fostering a vibrant culture of study, research, and hands-on engineering,” shared the event organizers.

Previously, FPT University signed a cooperation agreement with First (USA) to organize robot competitions in Vietnam following their standards and formats. In addition to the FTC Vietnam 2023-2024 competition, the university also hosts the Open Robotics Challenge (VORC) both online and offline at its campuses in Danang and Can Tho. This initiative aims to support students nationwide in becoming familiar with competition formats and experiencing the latest advancements in robotics technology.
