With the spirit of ‘mutual affection,’ nearly 70 units of blood were donated by lecturers and students of FPT University, Ho Chi Minh City campus, contributing to the blood bank to assist patients in need.
On May 13th, a humanitarian blood donation event took place at the FPT University campus in Ho Chi Minh City. This was the first blood donation activity of 2024 at the university. The activities were lively and full of love.
Many students, FPT University professors, and staff members enthusiastically participated in health check-ups and screenings to qualify for blood donation.
Seeing security guards, janitors, young students, and teachers all participating in the blood donation activities brought deep humanistic significance, demonstrating a profound spirit of compassion and high social responsibility.
With nearly 70 units of blood collected during the voluntary session, teachers and students from the FPT University branch in Ho Chi Minh City have made a small contribution by providing the necessary blood supply to hospitals, thus contributing to saving the lives of many patients. This also spreads the message of love and solidarity within the community.
The students who participated in this meaningful activity all felt the humanistic significance of the program; every drop of blood given is a gift of compassion. They also learned how to demonstrate solidarity and engagement in community social responsibility activities. This proves that the younger generation not only cares about their studies but also holds a strong awareness of social responsibility.
