Vietnamese costume festival
Opening the series of events is the “Vietnamese costume festival” taking place on September 5 and 6, 2022. This is the challenge of wearing Vietnam’s national costume on the first days of returning to school. Participants have the opportunity to take pictures and retouch photos for free in a cultural context. The “Viet Phuc Festival” took place with great enthusiasm and received enthusiastic participation from everyone.
At the event, Mr. Nguyen The Hoang – Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering shared: “I support traditional values and the way that young people restore them. Even if modern life can fly high and high. No matter how far away, I still believe that the traditional spirit is always flowing in the veins of every Vietnamese person. That makes up the character of a nation.”

“National Color Thien Huong” Exhibition
One of the highlights of the series of events is the “National Color Thien Huong” Exhibition. The story of history and culture has been recreated at the FPT University library with the display of more than 40 costumes of different types of national costumes, along with a treasure of cultural heritage. Those are the beauties of the Nguyen Dynasty from the antiques of the Golden Son Mot Thoi partner, the pure Vietnamese tarot decks, and the traditional lantern products from the Old Lantern Partner. In particular, the exhibition also has the appearance of costumes from the top 41 national costumes of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022.

Childhood experience workshop
In addition, the “Childhood” experience workshop also took place in parallel. At the workshop, attendees, under the guidance of artisans, will directly experience folk activities: molding to he, knitting coconut leaves, and drawing fan mo. The finished products made by the participants will be evaluated and awarded by the artisans themselves.

Talkshow “Culture is not empty”
Talkshow “Culture is not empty” is a place to meet and share experiences of bringing cultural stories, history, and national materials into the field of art. Audiences have the opportunity to listen to and exchange new perspectives on culture with speakers and film crews with profound expertise and influence. Those are Mr. Vu Quang and Nam Du – two speakers from the film crew “Viet Su Kieu Hung”.

Fashion show “Scent of a Thousand Years”
And finally, the soul of Chi Chi Chanh is the Fashion Show “Scent of a Thousand Years”. With the theme of Vietnamese costumes and traditional costumes, with the participation of famous designers, 40 partners and sponsors, more than 120 splendid costumes, and 70 talented models, “Scent of a Thousand Years” brings to the audience an eye-catching fashion space and complete experiences with Vietnamese culture. The fashion show also welcomes the appearance of actor Huynh Lap and other special guests.
