<\/p>\nAccompanying the younger generation on their journey to conquer knowledge and foster innovation, FPT University offers a variety of valuable scholarships to students participating in the competition.<\/p>\n
On March 19, the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Science and Technology competition for high school students (VISEF) took place in Ho Chi Minh City. As a part of this intellectual playground, FPT University awarded 24 one-year scholarships (covering the first year’s tuition) to the first-place winners of the competition. This support not only encourages the spirit of scientific and technological research but also contributes to nurturing young talents and promoting the development of Vietnamese knowledge.<\/p>\n
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong emphasized that this 13th edition of VISEF holds special significance. One of the most notable highlights is that the competition is held more than three months after the issuance of Resolution 57-NQ\/TW on December 22, 2024, by the Politburo.<\/p>\n
“This resolution is seen as a turning point in the field of science and technology, emphasizing that the development of science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation is a crucial breakthrough for the country’s leap into prosperity and strength in the new era. Most importantly, to develop sustainably, we need to invest in people, in the younger generation, and in education. This competition achieves all of these goals,” shared Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong.<\/p>\n

Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong hopes that this year’s competition will feature many excellent projects that reflect the intellectual potential of Vietnam’s youth<\/p>\n
VISEF 2025 takes place over three days, from March 19 to March 21, with the participation of 74 units from provinces and cities across the country. A total of 212 projects registered to compete in 21 scientific and technical fields.<\/p>\n
On March 19, the first round began with the exhibition of science and technology projects by the contestants. On March 20, the participants entered the round of direct interviews with the judging panel. On March 21, the jury will select the most outstanding contestants to award prizes and announce the representatives to participate in ISEF \u2013 the largest international science and engineering fair for high school students.<\/p>\n
