The music community is abuzz as rapper Manbo \u2013 an alumnus of FPT University \u2013 and singer Tung Duong simultaneously posted a teaser poster for their upcoming music project titled Cho con la nguoi Viet Nam<\/em>.<\/p>\n

On April 23, Tung Duong unveiled the poster for Cho con la nguoi Viet Nam<\/em> on his personal page, accompanied by the caption: \u201cParents gave birth to me, allowing me to be Vietnamese.\u201d A day later, Manbo followed by revealing the upcoming MV, posting the same poster with the message: \u201cForever grateful to stand on the motherland, with a steadfast and proud heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Within a short time, the two posts garnered a combined total of 16,000 likes and nearly 400 shares, demonstrating the widespread excitement and anticipation for this unique musical collaboration between young rapper Manbo and veteran singer Tung Duong \u2013 two artists representing different generations and musical currents.<\/p>\n

In the poster, rapper Manbo wears a simple black ao dai<\/em>, placing his hand respectfully over his heart, against the backdrop of a fluttering red flag with a yellow star, symbolizing national pride. Meanwhile, singer Tung Duong appears in a blue ao dai<\/em> adorned with a golden dragon, standing out against a bamboo forest background. The combination of Tung Duong\u2019s seasoned artistry and Manbo\u2019s youthful energy is expected to deliver a musical product that is both traditional and contemporary, carrying a message of national pride and love for the homeland.<\/p>\n

The song Cho con la nguoi Viet Nam<\/em>, composed by musician Truong Quy Hai, is part of the musical epic Nguoi Viet Nam<\/em>, with arrangement by music producer Nguyen Huu Vuong. The MV is scheduled for release at 8 PM on April 28, promising to be a special artistic milestone commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 \u2013 April 30, 2025).<\/p>\n

Manbo, whose real name is Lam Bach Phuc Hau, born in 1999, is a former student of Cohort 13, majoring in Digital Art and Design at FPT University. He rose to prominence in 2018 as one of the founding members of the hip-hop group GERDNANG, alongside HIEUTHUHAI and HURRYKNG. Hits such as Cua<\/em>, Choi<\/em>, and Rocket<\/em> helped the group capture the hearts of young hip-hop fans.<\/p>\n

In 2024, Manbo made a splash by participating in Rap Viet<\/em> Season 4. With his performance of Hanh trinh khong dung<\/em>, he captivated audiences with his sharp storytelling, concise lyrics, and heartfelt delivery. Manbo received all four coach selections and eventually joined Team Karik, finishing impressively in third place. His journey is particularly inspiring, having previously failed three times in the Rap Viet<\/em> casting rounds without ever abandoning his passion.<\/p>\n

Manbo\u2019s rap style is celebrated for its simplicity, authenticity, and powerful inspirational quality.
