Ung Hoa is a locality rich in tradition, home to 21 craft villages, over 130 historical relics, and 60 folk festivals. However, despite its cultural wealth, the district has long lacked effective communication to make it more accessible and appealing to the younger generation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"315\" data-end=\"744\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/daihoc.fpt.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Anh-1-1.avif\" alt=\"\u1ea2nh 1 (1)\" \/>K17 multimedia communication students carried out the project \u201cUng Hoa \u2013 the suburban heritage land\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"181\" data-end=\"431\">Based on the AIDA model (Attention \u2013 Interest \u2013 Desire \u2013 Action) combined with storytelling techniques and on-site research, the student team developed a communication strategy that highlights the cultural, historical, and scenic values of Ung Hoa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"727\">They produced a podcast series titled <strong data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"497\">\u201cKeepers of the Flame\u201d<\/strong>, published on Spotify, documenting the personal journeys, emotions, and daily lives of artisans in traditional craft villages. Through authentic stories, the podcast brings listeners closer to the cultural heritage of the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"1031\">The team also leveraged social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok to spread vibrant, modern visuals of the suburban area. These communication materials were tailored for a young audience\u2014both aesthetically appealing and easy to engage with\u2014helping foster cultural appreciation among the youth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"1464\">A highlight of the project was the <strong data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1128\">\u201cUng Hoa \u2013 the suburban heritage land\u201d cultural festival<\/strong>, held from December 27 to 29, 2024, at Van Dinh Bus Station, Ung Hoa District. Co-organized by the student team and the Ung Hoa District People\u2019s Committee, the event spanned over 1,000 square meters of open space and attracted more than 5,000 visitors, including students, local residents, tourists, journalists, and content creators.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1466\" data-end=\"2040\">The festival featured a range of cultural activities such as incense making, \u00e1o d\u00e0i painting, and t\u00f2 he figurine crafting. The event also welcomed Miss Universe Vietnam runner-up Huong Ly and second runner-up Huong Ly from Miss Tourism World, along with the Top 30 contestants of the Miss Heritage Ao Dai Vietnam pageant. The participants donned graceful \u00e1o d\u00e0i and performed an elegant walk to a blend of traditional and modern music. The \u00e1o d\u00e0i performance served as a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving and reimagining cultural values in contemporary life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1466\" data-end=\"2040\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/daihoc.fpt.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Anh-3.avif\" alt=\"\u1ea2nh 3\" \/>Beauty queens showcased ao dai at the \u201cUng Hoa \u2013 the suburban heritage land\u201d cultural festival on the evening of December 27, 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"172\" data-end=\"627\">Beyond event organization, the student team also engaged in a variety of cultural and educational activities. They coordinated the district-wide drawing contest \u201cMy Love for Local Heritage\u201d for school students in Ung Hoa, and led an experiential tour titled \u201cFrom the Incense Village to Sacred Sites\u201d, taking visitors to explore Quang Phu Cau \u2013 the incense-making village \u2013 along with iconic cultural and spiritual landmarks across the district.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"1027\">Other interactive spaces were carefully designed and professionally curated, including traditional craft demonstration zones, a heritage photo exhibition, and artisan meet-and-greet areas. Even after the festival, the team\u2019s communication products\u2014such as podcasts, videos, and photo collections\u2014continue to be utilized by the Ung Hoa District People\u2019s Committee as long-term promotional materials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1029\" data-end=\"1621\">During the final thesis defense for \u201cUng Hoa \u2013 the suburban heritage land\u201d at FPT University, Ms. Tuyen Le, representative of the Ung Hoa District Office of Culture, Information and Sports, praised the students\u2019 creativity and dedication.<br data-start=\"1271\" data-end=\"1274\" \/>She shared:<br data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1288\" \/>\u201cIt brings me genuine joy to look back on the past seven months\u2014a journey full of effort, learning, and heartfelt contribution from these students to our district.
