The “GenAI in Cloud” workshop provided FPT University’s Information Technology students with in-depth knowledge of new concepts such as generative AI, AI Agents, and solutions for applying these technologies on cloud computing platforms.
On January 17th, FPT University organized the “GenAI in Cloud” workshop, attracting 200 Information Technology students. This event offered valuable insights into artificial intelligence and provided a practical perspective on how AI is shaping the future of the technology industry.
Speaker Truong Cong Phuc shared specific examples and insights during his presentation on AI Agents
As part of the program, speaker Truong Cong Phuc – Founder of Luviha Group – shared profound insights on the topic “AI Agents – The Future Trend.” According to him, AI Agents are no longer just simple automation systems; they are increasingly evolving with the ability to adapt, learn, and exhibit exceptional intelligence. From virtual assistants that support work and optimize businesses to enhancing user experiences, AI Agents are gradually transforming the way people work and interact with technology. His presentation helped expand students’ understanding while also inspiring them to see the potential of AI Agents in shaping the modern world.
Also during the workshop, speaker Cao Quang Binh – Founder of Spa (a pioneering team in Blockchain development) – delivered an intriguing talk on “5+1 Useful Points of AI in Software Products.” He introduced how AI can improve the quality and efficiency of software development through solutions such as automating testing processes, enhancing user experience by analyzing data and personalizing interfaces, boosting security by integrating AI to detect and address cybersecurity threats, assisting with programming, optimizing system performance, and guiding software development strategies.
Mr. Truong Cong Binh gave a presentation on how AI can assist humans in creating software products
Mr. Binh emphasized: “From quickly detecting errors, personalizing interfaces, to suggesting source code and enhancing system processing speed, AI not only helps programmers save time but also opens up breakthrough development directions for software products.”
Not just about imparting knowledge, the “GenAI in Cloud” workshop also created a vibrant academic space, sparking passion and creative ideas among the students. This experience serves as a foundation for FPT University’s Information Technology students to confidently participate in the FPT Edu HackAIthon 2025 – an annual competition for technology enthusiasts within the FPT Education system – scheduled to take place in February 2025. With the foundational knowledge gained from experts, students will be able to apply artificial intelligence to develop groundbreaking technology products, showcasing their talent and capabilities in various creative competitions.
The students listened attentively to the speaker’s presentation
Ngoc Lan, a student from the Software Engineering program, shared: “The ‘GenAI in Cloud’ workshop helped me and my peers gain new knowledge about AI – one of the elements that can become an opportunity for young people to break through if we know how to seize and leverage it.” He also added that the values brought by the program will accompany FPT University students on their journey of creativity and development, turning potential ideas into practical solutions that contribute to making the technology world better.
