International collaboration and research partnerships with universities
As a member of the FPT Education ecosystem, FPT University maintains an extensive partnership network across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, integrating international collaboration into its sustainable development strategy. FPT University has recently become a member of the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Network, reaffirming its commitment to fostering international partnerships with educational institutions and global universities to identify and share best practices in realizing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
FPT University has a long-standing partnership with the University of Greenwich (UK). Recently, in London, both parties signed a new agreement to extend their cooperation for the period 2024–2029.

The University of Greenwich is a distinguished institution recognized for its contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This collaboration has enabled FPT University to benchmark its educational model against international standards while jointly sharing and exchanging policy frameworks, educational innovations, and curriculum development initiatives related to SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Research and academic partnerships with international organizations
Another notable international collaboration of FPT University is with Coursera Inc., an American global provider of massive open online courses founded in 2012 by computer science professors at Stanford University. Coursera partners with leading universities and organizations worldwide to deliver high-quality online learning.
Driven by the vision of enabling FPT University students to access top-tier global educational resources, adopt flexible self-learning methods, pursue lifelong learning, and enhance English proficiency, FPT University signed an agreement with Coursera in 2021 to provide large-scale course packages for all FPT University students. Since then, these courses have accounted for approximately 20% of students’ total annual academic credits across disciplines, offered at preferential or free rates.
By the end of 2024, FPT University will have achieved over 458,000 course completions and 565,160 total learning hours on the Coursera platform.
Coursera Inc. has recognized and highly appreciated FPT University’s excellence in educational management and quality assurance. Over four years of partnership, FPT University has received four awards from Coursera Inc.

Currently, the two sides are co-developing a new learning platform for ASEAN and Asian learners, integrating AI-powered features to enhance the learning experience.
Through such initiatives, FPT University is not only a participant but also a co-creator of global learning standards and models, contributing to the dissemination of data-driven, inclusive, and environmentally responsible approaches in pursuit of the SDGs.
FPT University has effectively leveraged its international collaborations to facilitate cross-border benchmarking and to scale up best practices in governance, research, education, and community engagement.
