In its presentation, FPT University addressed the challenge of bridging the “gap” between education and real-world demands through a close collaboration model between the University and enterprises. FPT University students are provided with optimal opportunities to work with businesses in solving real-life problems throughout their study process. Guided by the philosophy of “training aligned with recruitment – learning combined with practice,” industry experts from enterprises such as FPT Software are directly involved in teaching, mentoring student projects, and assessing student competencies. This approach enables students to accumulate hands-on experience, overcome initial barriers when entering the labor market, and at the same time helps enterprises reduce retraining costs.
Representing FPT University in presenting the solution at the conference was Dr. Nguyen Thi Cam Huong in the field of Software Engineering. Her presence at one of the city’s major technology forums serves as a vivid testament to FPT University’s policy of encouraging female students and researchers to engage deeply in STEM fields. The University is striving to foster an equitable academic environment, break down gender stereotypes, and attract and motivate women to pursue research careers in science, engineering, and technology—thereby contributing to the diversification of high-quality digital human resources.
