FPTU Big Open Day 2026 attracted nearly 20,000 students from across the country.

On January 18, more than 20,000 high school students nationwide convened at FPTU Big Open Day, a large-scale university experience event organized simultaneously by FPT University at five campuses in Ha Noi, Quy Nhon, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.

FPTU Big Open Day 2026 thu hút sự tham gia gần 20 nghìn học sinh trên cả nước.

The core value of FPTU Big Open Day lies in its hands-on career guidance strategy, helping 12th-grade students tackle the challenge of career choice amid the surge of technological change. Students received direct guidance from lecturers, current students and alumni on labor market shifts, while “golden” skills that cannot be replaced by AI—such as critical thinking, creativity and foreign language proficiency—were emphasized as key to becoming global citizens.

Consultation activities with lecturers at major-specific booths helped students address concerns about training pathways across the university’s 38 specializations. At these booths, each student accessed transparent and personalized information on admission methods, tuition fees and scholarship programs for 2026.

Notably, the strong connection between the university and enterprises at the event gave parents a more evidence-based view of graduate outcomes. Sharing sessions by successful alumni about their journeys from campus to multinational corporations provided strong inspiration for exam candidates.

Beyond the core activities of experiencing the learning environment, campus tours and career orientation with experts, lecturers, students and alumni, each campus designed programs with its own distinctive features.

At the Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City campuses, thousands of students flocked to experience 4.0 classrooms. Unlike conventional theoretical counseling sessions, participants directly operated in specialized laboratories focusing on semiconductor microchips, artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR). These immersive “role-playing” activities as technology engineers helped learners clearly visualize how key industries are integrated into the university’s training programs.

The Da Nang campus made a strong impression with the Tech Cafe model, where chess-playing robots and intelligent robot dogs blended into a relaxation space tailored to Gen Z. The appearance of the ReHistoria application—a standout graduation project that recreates history through digital technology—became a focal point attracting young people’s curiosity.

In Quy Nhon, “made by students” products such as robotic arms and interactive games demonstrated strong hands-on capabilities developed right from the classroom.

The event space was further expanded with hundreds of club booths and distinctive cultural areas.

The day concluded with an explosive music event featuring artists such as MONO, Quan A.P and Phuong Ly in Ha Noi, closing an emotional and memorable experiential journey.
