On November 2, the “Homecoming 2025” event of FPT University took place in an emotional atmosphere with the participation of 400 alumni representing nearly 20 generations, from the very first cohort since the university’s establishment to the present. More than just a reunion, the event created opportunities for alumni to reconnect, sit together, and reminisce about memories with friends and lecturers.

The event was held at the Hoa Lac campus of FPT University, welcoming alumni from different generations alongside lecturers and university staff. At Homecoming 2025, alumni took part in a wide range of engaging activities, including visiting club booths to rediscover familiar images from their student days; participating in intellectual, interactive and creative games; and gathering at the “tra da corner” to recall memorable stories and shared moments with old friends and teachers.

The most special highlight of Homecoming 2025 was the experiential class, where alumni returned to the lecture hall and joined engaging sessions with FPT University lecturers in subjects such as microeconomics, Marxist–Leninist philosophy, audio production, vovinam, and traditional musical instruments.
Nguyen Long Giang, an alumna from cohort K15 majoring in multimedia communication, shared her pride in being a part of FPTU. For her, every student grows up in a culture of connection and a spirit of daring to be different—values that have shaped the unique identity of FPT University. More than a learning environment, FPTU is truly a home, where small class sizes help students bond closely with one another and, especially, with their lecturers.

Long Giang shared: “We are grateful because not everywhere do students feel comfortable sending assignments to lecturers at midnight, or returning after graduation to ask for advice on career and life choices. That closeness and connection are not something every place can offer.”
Alongside the alumni reunion, current FPT University students also joined the event, connecting with seniors from earlier cohorts to learn from their experiences, expand their networks, and seek job opportunities from businesses founded or led by alumni.
Homecoming 2025 was not only a reunion but also carried significant meaning in affirming FPT University’s sustainable development orientation. The university not only focuses on training and accompanying students throughout their studies, but also maintains close and lasting engagement with its alumni community—individuals who have made and continue to make their mark across various fields.

Pham Tuyet Hanh Ha, head of the school affairs department of FPT Education Organization, noted that FPT University students carry three distinctive traits: sharp technological thinking, strong passion, and a playful, resilient spirit. These qualities not only define a vibrant youth on campus, but also become valuable assets when graduates enter the workplace and contribute to the community and businesses.
By building a closely connected alumni network, FPT University opens up opportunities for recruitment cooperation and business connections, forming a unified knowledge ecosystem in which individuals continue to receive support and companionship even after graduation. At the same time, the interaction between alumni and current students serves as a powerful bridge of inspiration. Real-life stories, professional experiences and personal growth journeys shared by seniors become valuable lessons, helping younger generations clarify their career paths and confidently step into professional working environments.

Homecoming 2025 therefore was not merely a commemorative event, but a vivid testament to an inspiring learning and experiential environment—one where generations of FPT University alumni are always proud to return, share, and continue accompanying the institution that nurtured their formative years.
