- Subjects of admission
Candidates who have been recognized for graduating from high school in Vietnam or hold an equivalent qualification from a foreign institution, wishing to study at FPT University.
- Methods of admission
In addition to direct admission as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training (code PT0), FPT University offers admission through the following methods:

Notes:
– Candidates who have not reached the required English level are allowed to enroll in the English preparation program until they are eligible to enter the major program;
– Certifications must be valid (if an expiration date is specified) or no older than 2 years.
III. Registration procedures
- Registration documents
– Registration form;
– Photocopy/scan of ID card/passport;
– A photocopy/scanned copy of the high school transcript (for applications based on high school results);
– Certificate of ranking in 2024 according to high school transcripts/ NHSGE results on http://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn;
– Photocopies/scans of other documents certifying registration conditions (if any).
– Admission fee: VND 200,000.
The application of registration is only valid when FPT University has received all documents and the registration fee in accordance with regulations.
- Priority policy
Priority points for subjects and areas shall comply with the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Admission schedule
- Based on the 2024 admission schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- First-round application deadline: 30/06/2024.
Supplemental admission rounds (if any) will be based on the results of the previous admission round and will be announced if the university has not filled its quota.

Candidates are required to complete the FPT University Registration Form online at https://daihoc.fpt.edu.vn/dang-ky-dai-hoc-fpt and submit the following soft copies of application documents:
- Copy of ID card/Citizen ID/Passport;
- Scanned copy of high school academic transcript (applicable for admission based on academic record);
- Certificate of high school student ranking in 2025 via https://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn (applicable for admission using academic records);
- Copy of the 2025 National High School Graduation Examination (NHSGE) result certificate (applicable for candidates using NHSGE scores);
- Copy of the Competency Assessment Test result certificate (applicable for candidates using results from Hanoi National University or Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025);
- Scanned copies of documents proving eligibility for direct admission (if applicable);
- Scanned copies of relevant certificates, diplomas, or qualifications (for candidates applying under other admission methods);
- Admission fee: VND 200,000.
The application of registration is only valid when FPT University has received all documents and the registration fee in accordance with regulations.
- Priority Policy
- Priority points for subjects and geographical areas shall comply with the Ministry of Education and Training’s admission regulations.
- Preferential admission thresholds apply for first-generation college students as follows:
• Ranked in the Top 55 on SchoolRank based on academic records,
• Or achieving a minimum score of 19.5 in the NHSGE (applicable for candidates using NHSGE results from previous years).

- First round: according to the official schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Supplemental rounds (if applicable): based on the results of previous rounds and will be announced if the university has not yet filled its quota.
