In addition to studying with a curriculum using 100% English, students from FPT University also get to experience a semester abroad as part of the English Level 6 (Summit 2) program.
This May, FPT University Can Tho students have temporarily left Vietnam to experience the culture and country of Thailand through the intensive English program at Burapha University International College (BUUIC).
Burapha University International College (BUUIC) is one of Thailand’s prominent public universities and a member of the ASEAN University Network. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs related to science, languages, economics, education, hospitality management, and tourism management.
Notably, in addition to classroom learning, students participating in this program have the opportunity to engage in special activities such as cultural exchanges and visits to Thailand’s famous landmarks.
The semester abroad is a practical experience activity that helps FPT University students become global citizens. In fact, foreign language proficiency is a significant competitive advantage for FPT University students when entering the labor market.
The English program runs six sessions per year, focusing on January, March, May, July, September, and November. Students will participate in intensive classes with experienced native teachers, combined with diverse extracurricular activities such as cultural exchanges and tourism. This way, students not only improve their English knowledge but also have the opportunity to experience the culture and customs of different countries, broadening their horizons and understanding of the world.
The overseas English semester is a fantastic opportunity for students to experience the cultures of other countries. They will engage in cultural activities, interact with locals, and learn about their customs and traditions. This helps students expand their worldview, understanding of the world, and social networks.
