FPT University announces the “Digital Age Talent Search” scholarship program with unprecedented privileges

A scholarship fund of more than VND 200 billion, comprising 1,030 scholarships for Grade 12 students nationwide—not only supporting tuition fees but making a comprehensive investment in the next generation of technology, entrepreneurship, and globally minded talent.

FPT University has officially announced the Vietnam Digital Age Talent Search Program – the Nguyen Van Dao Scholarship, with a total value exceeding VND 200 billion and 1,030 scholarships awarded to Grade 12 students across the country through a multidimensional selection process. This is considered a large-scale scholarship program offering comprehensive privileges, aimed at identifying and making long-term investments in young human resources in a context where technology and artificial intelligence are profoundly reshaping the global labor market.

Unlike traditional scholarship programs that focus primarily on financial assistance, the Nguyen Van Dao Scholarship is designed as a holistic investment in human potential. Participants not only receive funding covering 50% to 100% of full-program tuition fees, but also gain access to rare development opportunities, including investment resources to implement academic, technology, and entrepreneurial projects with real capital; direct mentorship from senior leaders and high-level experts; participation in the technology and artificial intelligence ecosystem; research and development (R&D) projects; advanced technology laboratories; and opportunities for study, internships, and employment in the international environment of FPT Group and its global partner network. These developmental benefits are integrated into the training program and are not directly convertible into cash.

FPT University has announced the Vietnam Digital Age Talent Search Program – the Nguyen Van Dao Scholarship, with a total value exceeding VND 200 billion.

The program targets Grade 12 students with outstanding abilities and long-term development potential, without confining candidates to a single predefined profile. Eligible applicants include students with excellent academic performance, strong technological competencies, innovative and entrepreneurial thinking, leadership potential, as well as those who have demonstrated resilience in overcoming challenging circumstances and a desire to create positive value for the community. The selection process follows a holistic evaluation approach, combining academic results, achievements, competency portfolios, personal projects, introduction videos, and selective interviews.

Through the Vietnam Digital Age Talent Search Program, FPT University aims to cultivate a new generation of young talent capable of mastering technology, pursuing innovative entrepreneurship, assuming leadership roles, and competing in a global environment, thereby meeting Vietnam’s development needs in the digital era.

Sharing the program’s orientation, Dr. Nguyen Khac Thanh, President of FPT University, emphasized: “The Nguyen Van Dao Scholarship is not merely financial support, but a serious long-term investment in people. The university seeks to create a launchpad for students with strong capabilities and ambitious aspirations to develop comprehensively in a technology-driven, innovative, and internationally integrated environment. FPT University is committed to providing the best resources from the FPT ecosystem—from education and technology to the enterprise network—so that students can master technology, create value for society, and reach the global stage.”

According to the plan, the application portal for the Nguyen Van Dao Scholarship will officially open on February 2, 2026. Notably, in addition to self-application, students may also be nominated by teachers, schools, or parents through the program’s centralized nomination system, thereby expanding access for students with strong potential who may not yet proactively promote themselves.

With its large scale, distinctive approach, and comprehensive development privileges, the Nguyen Van Dao Scholarship is expected to contribute significantly to preparing a high-quality young workforce for Vietnam, ready to participate and compete in an increasingly technology-driven and globally integrated environment.
