On February 26 and 27, nearly 80 students from FPT University participated in an industry tour at YODY Fashion Corporation and Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) Hanoi. The tour provided an opportunity to explore professional work environments and stay updated on industry trends.
Company Tour is an initiative organized by the Corporate Relations & Alumni Office of FPT University, designed to help students experience real-world workplaces, discover career opportunities, and gain insights from industry experts. This tour was part of the FPTU Career Fair 2025 – Shaping the Sustainable Journey, a large-scale recruitment event scheduled for March 13 at FPT University.
Exploring Sustainable Fashion at YODY
On February 26, nearly 80 students visited YODY, a leading fashion company, to learn about its business operations. The visit provided an overview of YODY’s production process, from material selection and quality control to how products reach the market.
Beyond business operations, students also explored YODY’s sustainability strategies, including reforestation projects, material recycling, and the adoption of eco-friendly manufacturing technologies. These initiatives not only reflect trends in the fashion industry but also highlight corporate responsibility toward society and the environment. Additionally, students engaged in discussions with company representatives about the challenges and opportunities in balancing business growth with social responsibility.
A key highlight of the visit was an interactive session with Le Van Duy, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of YODY. He shared insights on the company’s digital transformation journey, detailing how technology is integrated into supply chain management, operational optimization, and customer experience enhancement through data analytics and artificial intelligence. This session provided valuable practical knowledge for students majoring in Information Technology and Business Administration.
Exploring Cutting-Edge Technology at Bosch Global Software Technologies
On February 27, students continued their Company Tour at Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) Hanoi, where they explored advanced technological solutions and learned how a leading tech company operates in a professional environment.
Students were introduced to ongoing technology projects at BGSW, including software solutions for the automotive industry, automation, and artificial intelligence. Company representatives explained how BGSW integrates technology into production and operations to enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and develop high-impact solutions. This provided students with a clearer understanding of technological advancements and industry demands.
During the tour, students engaged in discussions with Nguyen Tran Duc, Technical Leader, and Pham Duc Minh, Senior Software Engineer, as part of the B-Innovate program. The two experts provided insights into BGSW’s software development process—from ideation and design to programming, testing, and deployment. Students also explored notable technology projects at BGSW and emerging trends in AI, IoT, and automation.
The session also offered guidance on career pathways in the tech industry. Tran Duc and Duc Minh highlighted essential skills for working at a global tech corporation, such as programming proficiency, problem-solving mindset, teamwork, and communication in an international environment. Additionally, students received answers to their questions about internship opportunities, job placements, and preparation strategies for entering the global workforce.
