The tournament attracted nearly 500 athletes from 48 teams, representing 43 Taekwondo clubs active in Hanoi and the northern provinces. The competition featured three main categories: sparring, forms (poomsae), and team demonstration.

In the mixed pair demonstration category, both pairs, Nguyen Tien Ha Dam and Tran Thao Vy, won Bronze medals, showcasing the excellent coordination and performance skills of the FTC athletes. Student Nguyen Do Hiep brought home a Bronze medal in the men’s individual forms category.

Holding the Bronze medal in her hand, Tran Thao Vy emotionally shared, “I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful to have had the support of my seniors and friends in the club throughout my training journey. The practice sessions were not just about honing skills but also moments where I received encouragement and support from everyone. Especially, I cannot forget the dedicated care team who wholeheartedly helped us throughout the tournament. Their care and support truly empowered me to give my best in the competition. I sincerely hope that all my seniors and friends in the club will continue to train even harder so that we can join more major tournaments in the future and achieve even greater success.”

To prepare for this tournament, Tran Thao Vy practiced diligently, saying, “We trained together extensively and always motivated each other during tough times. My five fellow competitors and I, along with the seniors in the club, trained for a month leading up to the event. Particularly during the final practice sessions before the competition, we had to adjust strategies, address weaknesses, and perfect techniques,” she said.
