From July 18 to 20, 2025, at FPT University Da Nang campus, the event FPTU Summer Jamboree 2025 officially wrapped up its explosive three-day journey. With the theme “Prompt Your Future,” the camp brought together nearly 2,000 students from Vietnam and abroad, offering a multi-dimensional experiential education space combining academics, technology, culture, society, and sports – aiming to shape global citizens in the age of AI.
A vibrant summer “universe” connecting global students
Right from day one, the atmosphere at FPTU Summer Jamboree 2025 was electrified by a colorful parade featuring high school teams from the central region, martial arts and sports clubs, FPTU students nationwide, and international campers from the Philippines, Singapore, Canada, India, and more. All united in a festive spirit that celebrated diversity, boldness, leadership, and readiness to integrate into a globalized world.
The opening ceremony lit up the crowd with the traditional torch-lighting ritual – symbolizing the spirit of burning passion and the start of a journey of self-discovery over three dynamic days.
From there, a series of themed activities were launched under three main tracks:
Jam Technology was where international campers and FPTU students joined together in tech workshops such as “Empowering Minds with AI,” led by professor Jason J. Jung – an AI expert from Chung-Ang University (Korea). These sessions provided foundational knowledge and real-life applications of AI in education, business, and everyday life. Highlights also included projects from the Innocode Camp 2025 – a student tech competition – showcasing AI, big data, and virtual reality innovations addressing challenges in education, environment, and career readiness.
Jam Skill featured a rich lineup of meaningful activities, notably the Happy Run and the Green Steps – Green Life program. Campers not only trained physically through running but also promoted a green lifestyle by cleaning up beaches and donating life jackets and volleyball equipment to local communities with FPT University.
Alongside were activities that nurtured mindset and holistic skills: from the digital knowledge challenge “Prompt the Mind,” to the kite-painting workshop “Color up your dream,” and the “AI Kite Fest” – a festival that nurtured artistic sensibilities. The energy continued with the Big Game “Tech Maze: Decode your future” full of team-based challenges and mystery puzzles to boost teamwork. The FPTU Glory contest – Miss & Mr FPTU – gave campers a chance to showcase stage presence, personal charisma, and unique talents. Through this journey, each young participant had the opportunity to unlock their mindset, express individuality, and affirm their social responsibility as members of a new generation.
Jam Olympic was the Jamboree Olympic tournament, featuring intense competitions among football teams and martial arts squads, including traditional martial arts, Vovinam, and hockey. The event brought high-energy sportsmanship to an unforgettable summer.
FPTU – where the journey of growth and future “prompting” begins
FPTU Summer Jamboree 2025 was more than just a camp. It was a journey of independence, growth, and future self-direction for young people. Here, technology wasn’t merely a tool – it was the creative material embedded in every academic and entertainment activity. From AI-powered kites soaring in the sky to lines of learning code, each “prompt” was a declaration from a generation unafraid to be different and ready to create.
Sharing his experience at FPTU, Truong Thanh Toan – an incoming student – said: “I joined FPTU Summer Jamboree to get to know the university, meet new friends, and challenge myself through the activities. During the camp, I had a lot of fun, and what impressed me most was joining others in cleaning up the beach. It was a meaningful experience. Soon, I will officially become a freshman in the semiconductor chip major.”
Pham Truong Minh Thuan – a grade 11 student from Da Nang – also had many reflections: “I joined various activities at this year’s summer camp like the parade, sports events, workshops. What I enjoyed most were the Happy Run, beach cleanup, and the AI workshop. These activities got me excited and helped me overcome my own limits. I got to talk with students from the university and especially a teacher who inspired and encouraged me to feel more confident about my future path.”
FPTU Summer Jamboree 2025 vividly illustrated the comprehensive education strategy FPT University has been pursuing: blending knowledge with emotion, technology with humanity, and experience as a core part of the learning journey.
