Leaders of the Gia Lai Department of Education and Training highly valued the STEM and AI education model of FPT University (FPTU), while also highlighting the potential for cooperation with the university to enhance skills for teachers and students in the province.
On the afternoon of September 23, a delegation from the Gia Lai Department of Education and Training, led by Mr. Pham Van Nam – Director of the Department – along with Deputy Directors, heads of specialized divisions, and principals of several high schools in the province, paid a visit and held a working session at FPT University.
During the meeting, Dr. Bui Phi Hung – Vice Rector of FPT University – together with lecturers and staff introduced the training program STEM Education in AI Era designed for high school teachers nationwide. At the same time, FPT University also presented its STEM KIT and AI, Robotics playgrounds for high school students, developed and organized by the university.
Representatives of the Gia Lai Department of Education and Training praised FPT University’s efforts in developing STEM and AI education models, while also discussing the possibility of collaboration to create opportunities for high school teachers and students in the region to access modern technologies and improve their skills in the digital era.
This visit opened up new directions for connecting general education with higher education, contributing to innovation and creativity in teaching and learning, as well as fostering the development of technological skills for the future generation. Through this initiative, FPT University reaffirmed its pioneering role and commitment in bringing STEM and AI into general education, equipping teachers and students with the mindset and competencies to adapt to the digital age and enhance their global capacity.
