FPT University Library
FPT University (FPTU) libraries at 5 campuses provide a number of services that allow free use of library resources, including:
- Free automatic access to the Internet and study space at the library: The library not only provides free access to the Internet for study and research, but also has professional staff to support readers.
- Free access to on-shelf book resources: The library provides and promotes access to free on-shelf book resources. For children of university employees who do not attend the school, they can borrow books to read at home.
- Free access to scientific articles and student theses on the website http://ds.libol.fpt.edu.vn/ . And other online resources of FPTU libraries.
- Book Fairs and Activities : Events such as the FPTU Book Fair, 7-Day Reading Challenge, and exhibitions are regularly held and open to everyone, to promote reading culture and academic society.
Opening hours at the library:
- Monday – Friday, from 08:15 – 21:00
- Saturday – Sunday, from 08:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 17:00
The feeling of awe when first stepping into the library at FPTU’s HCM Campus makes everyone exclaim, “Wow.” A beautifully designed, uniquely diverse space that invites exploration.
The library regularly hosts events like book fairs and exhibitions of graduation projects from Art Design students.

In addition to books on the shelves, the library offers more than 80,000 e-books for everyone. On average, each student has access to more than 50 titles, and each academic program features nearly 3,000 book titles.
Additionally, FPT University students have access to learning resources through the EduNext training platform. EduNext is an online training platform that provides learners with the Personalized learning experience. There, learning is compatible with their competencies and qualifications, helping to explore and develop personal abilities by constructive learning method based on the social constructivist theory.
Online open learning resources
With the mission of “providing global competitiveness for a wide range of learners,” FPT University has strongly implemented the internationalization of education and the digital transformation of education and training. This transformation is realized through the integration of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) from the Coursera platform into the curriculum, providing FPT University students with equal access to global education through courses designed by the world’s leading universities, companies, and corporations. This digital education transformation at FPT University also helps students develop self-learning skills—an essential ability for lifelong learning. Each student is required to complete 20% of their courses on Coursera. Every faculty member completes at least one 30-hour online course per year to continuously improve their professional expertise and skills for their work. FPT University faculty and students will be able to register for courses and receive certificates on Coursera free of charge.
As of July 2023, FPT University had completed:
- Over 1,962,000 learning hours on the Coursera platform
- Over 9 million lessons
In 2023, for the third year, FPTU granted 600 free Coursera online learning accounts to alumni in the fourth round.
With a spirit of lifelong learning, thousands of accounts were granted to the school’s alumni in the three previous rounds. Alumni can register for any of the more than 9,889 diverse courses available on the Coursera platform. This platform features course materials from top universities worldwide, such as Stanford, Yale, and Duke University, helping alumni not only enhance their knowledge but also gain a new method of self-study and lifelong learning. After being verified and receiving a participation email, alumni can choose and take any course they are interested in to improve their skills and develop themselves. Additionally, courses are categorized into specific fields (IT, BA, etc.) to help alumni easily filter and consider courses according to their needs.
Alumni can choose from available skill sets to participate in courses that align with their specific skill development pathways they wish to study and improve. This program aims to support FPT University alumni in continuing to learn and develop themselves even after leaving school. Through this, FPT University will always be a knowledge bridge between students and the global education career.

FPT University receives excellent digital transformation award
FPT University received the “Campus Transformation outstanding Achievement Award” at the Coursera Global Conference 2023, held on April 13. This is the largest annual conference of the leading online learning platform Coursera.
“Campus Transformation Outstanding Achievement Award” is an award from Coursera, presented to universities worldwide with outstanding achievements in promoting digital transformation, applying technology in training, and achieving the goal of combining direct classroom learning and self-learning through the Coursera platform for learners.
