Participating in the “Binh dan hoc vu so” conference in the Co To special zone (Quang Ninh), students of FPT University directly supported and transferred digital skills to local residents, contributing to the spread of technology knowledge and promoting grassroots-level digital transformation.

On January 10, the Farmers’ Association of the Co To special zone, Quang Ninh, organized the “Binh dan hoc vu so” communication conference to raise awareness and improve digital application skills for officials, farmer association members, and local residents. Attending the conference were Tran Thi Hoai, vice chairwoman of the Farmers’ Association of the special zone, a group of FPT University students, and officials and farmer members from residential areas across the locality.

The “Binh dan hoc vu so” conference was jointly organized by the Farmers’ Association of the Co To special zone and students of FPT University, enabling local officials and residents to access digital administrative services.

At the conference, FPT University students directly introduced and guided residents in practicing practical contents closely linked to daily life and production needs, such as the VNeID electronic identification application; the VNeTraffic application for traffic services; the eTax Mobile application for fulfilling tax obligations; the use of digital banking utilities and cashless payment methods; the application of AI in daily life; and the use of the Co To Digital platform.

Leveraging their knowledge of digital transformation and presentation skills, FPT University students delivered guidance sessions that were easy to understand, easy to remember, and applicable immediately after the conference. Through these sessions, residents were equipped with additional basic knowledge and skills to proactively access and use digital services, thereby improving the efficiency of administrative procedures, access to information, and the application of information technology in daily life and production.

This activity is part of a cooperation program between FPT University and the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee to support local residents in implementing Resolution 57 and Resolution 71. According to the plan, from January to April, 74 students majoring in Information Technology at FPT University will be assigned to nearly 30 communes and wards across Quang Ninh province, directly supporting local authorities and residents in the implementation of Party and State resolutions. Before officially participating in local support activities, students were fully equipped and updated with knowledge and skills related to information security and operational support for the implementation of Resolution 57 within the government sector, and were briefed on relevant legal regulations such as the Law on Cybersecurity, the Law on Personal Data Protection, along with related resolutions and legal documents.

Through these activities, students not only contribute to spreading digital skills within the community but also directly experience the role of technology human resources in driving digital transformation. Young participants have the opportunity to work in real and professional environments, directly engage with information technology systems and processes of state agencies, and thereby accumulate practical experience in the field of digital transformation.
