On the morning of September 12, in Da Nang, the annual International Conference on Smart Materials 2024, co-founded by FPT University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Mining and Geology University, and Quy Nhon University, officially opened. With hundreds of research papers submitted, the organizing committee conducted independent evaluations through multiple rounds of peer review and selected 65 papers for presentation at the conference.
The conference has garnered significant interest from domestic and international scientists and will continue for the next two days.
This year, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure, the conference has attracted many leading experts in this field, as well as in semiconductor technology, blockchain, and more. Notable speakers include Professor Richard Chbeir from the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour (France), presenting on data engineering in IoT; Professor Kim Joonghoen from Korea University, discussing quantum machine learning; and Associate Professor Thuy Nguyen from RMIT University, who will present on the Internet for healthcare issues.
In addition, the conference has also attracted significant interest from both domestic and international scientists.
