Last week, the workshop with the topic “Stories of working in the right field or the wrong field” was led by Ms. Phuong Linh – Soft Skills Lecturer and the guest was Mr. Truong Thanh Thy (Bil Truong) – Senior HR Consultant of Saigon Consulting – Saicon.
The valuable sharing from the speakers brought participants interesting, valuable and practical knowledge and stories.
Speaker Mr. Truong Thanh Thy (Bill Truong) is an expert with many years of experience in the field of strategic consulting and business development for leading corporations in Vietnam.
In the sharing session, speaker Truong Thanh Thy shared his real-life stories in the profession and his working experience in large companies and organizations with FPTU students, using the “mind to think” training method. Helping students understand the difference between working in the right field and working in the wrong field, the pros and cons, and solving misconceptions about this issue, thereby orienting their own suitable careers in the future, discovering new opportunities and developing skills.
Among thousands of choices, personal desires and pursuing a “hot” industry have gradually become the trend of “job hopping” or working in a different field for students. This comes from the lack of synchronization between the education system and the real needs of society. Understanding this, we have created the project “Stories of working in the right or wrong field” with the mission of helping you find the right path for yourself.
At the end of the Q&A session, students who had good and impressive questions had the opportunity to take photos with Mr. Bill Truong and receive a very meaningful book “The Right Job” by author Gian Tu Trung from the teacher as a conclusion to the workshop.
Through the workshop, the knowledge, stories and experiences from the speakers will certainly be a “huge” luggage to help participants find the right key for their sustainable career journey.
