Overview

With a mission of providing a high-quality education environment bases on a student-centered approach, FPT University has developed the Administration Business program aligned with reputable accreditation standards like the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and the recruitment needs of the industry. Especially, since 2019, the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration offered by the Faculty of Business, Hanoi campus, has been accredited by ACBSP.

The Administration Business program is currently offering six specializations including:

  • International Business
  • Global logistics and supply chain management
  • Finance
  • Digital Marketing
  • Hotel Management
  • Tourism and Travel Management

The Administration Business program has always been inspiring and offering many opportunities to generations of talented students. Many of whom have become entrepreneurs, business professionals, and leaders in Vietnamese and international companies.

Program design

BA program included 4 modules: General Knowledge & Skills, Major knowledge & skills,  Specialized knowledge & skills, and Elective combos.

  • General Knowledge & Skills: Provide the general knowledge of political, cultural and social issues, and all essential skills to study and work in an active and changing environment.
  • Major knowledge & skills: Provide the basic knowledge of the business administration major; and all essential skills and attitudes to become specialists in the business administration field.
  • Specialized knowledge & skills: BA students have a chance to choose one of six specializations: International Business (BBA-IB), Global logistics and supply chain management (BBA-GL), Finance (BBA-FIN), Digital Marketing (BBA-MKT), Hotel Management (BBA-HM), and Tourism and Travel Management (BBA-TM)
  • Elective combos: A combo is a group of courses that are linked together. Students can choose combos according to ability and orientation. Elective combos are designed to give BA students choices to either deepen or broaden their spectrum of knowledge.

Standard time to get a degree

The standard time to get a degree in Information Technology is estimated at 9+1 semesters, with the first semester dedicated to the Preparation phase and the rest for Foundation, On-the-Job training, and Specialization.

All study programs at FPTU follow the same structure of (1+9) semesters. A study journey begins with one preparation phase, lasting for two months up to a year, and continues with a major program, which takes places over 9 semesters.

Requirement to attend the study program

Students must prove their minimum of English proficiency at level B2 CEFR (Common European Framework) or IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
