What is AQAS?
AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programs) is a renowned higher education accreditation agency based in Germany. It is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and is listed in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). Since 2021, AQAS has been authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training to operate in Vietnam.
AQAS evaluates academic programs based on the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), which serve as the most widely recognized quality framework in the Europe.

For undergraduate and master’s degree programs, AQAS uses seven standards aligned with the ESG framework:
