Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the FPT University

Introduction

Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the FPT University is under The Hanoi Municipal Youth Union. The Executive Committee of the FPT University Youth Union includes excellent lecturers, officers, and students of the university, who are elected representatives for the university’s highest governing body from students (both undergraduate and graduate).

Functions and Missions

FPT University Youth Union performs the following tasks:

1. Political education, traditions education, organizing and participating in movements.
2. Building and consolidating the organization of the Youth Union and contributing to the Party.
3. Participating in scientific training and research as a member of the FPT University Youth Union under The Hanoi Municipal Youth Union.
4. In recent years, under the leadership of the Communist Party Cell and the Rectorate Board, the Youth Union has organized many effective and highly educational activities, focusing on 3 main directions:

• Volunteering and charity activities.
• Cultural and artistic exchange activities.
• Activities to support learning and scientific research.

Achievements

With determination, efforts, and achievements, FPT University Youth Union has organized meaningful activities such as visiting and giving gifts to 11 heroic Vietnamese mothers in 10 communes of Ba Vi district, Hanoi city, a running contest, volunteering and charity activities, etc.
