SCHOLARSHIP REGULATIONS FOR FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM AT FPT UNIVERSITY IN 2025
In 2025, FPT University grants over 2,800 Nguyen Van Dao scholarships to outstanding candidates graduating from high school in 2025 who meet the admission criteria of the university. The scholarships are categorized as follows:
- Global expert scholarship (100 scholarships)
This scholarship covers full tuition fees for the entire program, with an annual living allowance of VND 30,000,000. Upon graduation, recipients may choose to work in one of five countries: the United States, Japan, Korea, Germany, or Singapore.
Eligible candidates are winners of first, second, or third prize in the national excellent student competition, must be enrolled in the Information Technology major, and pass an interview with FPT directors at overseas markets. - High school scholarship (900 scholarships)
This scholarship offers a full tuition fees for the entire program. Each high school in priority area 1 is entitled to one scholarship.
Candidates must be ranked in the top 10 of the 2025 high school rankings (certified at https://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn) and be nominated by the high school board. - Full scholarship (300 scholarships)
This scholarship grants a full tuition fees for the entire program.
Eligibility includes one of the following: being a member of the national team participating in international Olympiads nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training; winning first, second, or third prize in international cultural, artistic, or sports competitions nominated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; winning first prize in the national excellent student competition; attaining at least 90% of the score in the 2025 competency assessment exam conducted by Vietnam National University Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City; or achieving a GPA of 9.0 or higher in the 2025 high school graduation exam (mathematics + two other subjects). - Two-year scholarship (500 scholarships)
This scholarship covers full tuition fees for the first two years.
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: winning second prize in the national excellent student competition; attaining at least 85% of the score in the 2025 competency assessment exam conducted by Vietnam National University Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City; or achieving a GPA of 8.5 or higher in the 2025 high school graduation exam (mathematics + two other subjects). - One-year scholarship (1,000 scholarships)
This scholarship covers full tuition fees for the first year.
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: winning third prize in the national excellent student competition; attaining at least 80% of the score in the 2025 competency assessment exam conducted by Vietnam National University Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City; or achieving a GPA of 8.0 or higher in the 2025 high school graduation exam (mathematics + two other subjects). - STEM for female student scholarship
This scholarship is valued at VND 20,000,000, deducted from the first four tuition payments (VND 5,000,000 each). The scholarship will be revoked if the student transfers to a non-stem major. Eligible applicants are female candidates applying for majors under the Information Technology category.

Financial aid policy
- Introduction
This special financial aid policy supports 1,000 students with disadvantaged backgrounds, allowing them to pursue their studies first and repay tuition fees after graduation. - Eligibility and criteria
Candidates must graduate from high school in 2025, meet FPT University’s admission criteria, come from financially disadvantaged families, and apply to join the program. They must be ranked in the top 40 of the 2025 high school rankings (certified at https://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn), submit valid application documents, and be approved by the program evaluation committee. - Loan amount, interest rate, and repayment
Students may defer 30%, 50%, or 70% of total tuition fees for the entire program. The applicable interest rate is equivalent to the lending rate of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies for student loans. Repayment must be made within five years from graduation, including both principal and interest. Students may repay part or all of the outstanding balance before maturity.
