The exchange of art – culture and business networking between Vietnam and Indonesia
On May 23, 2023, at The Voice of HCM City People (VOH) radio station (Da Kao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), The exchange of art – culture and business networking between Vietnam and Indonesia was held to emphasize the importance of preserving culture in the age of bilateral economic development. In the discussions, forums and seminars, Vietnamese and Indonesian businesses have more opportunities to exchange ideas, share experiences and explore the potential for business cooperation.
During the show, the audience was treated to musical performances by Vietnam musicians, an Ao Dai fashion show (traditional Vietnamese clothing), the performance of playing traditional musical instruments (by FPT University students), Wayang Kulit (shadow puppets) combined with Balinese dance and closed with the Angklung orchestra which performed several popular songs from Vietnam, such as Saigon Dep Lam.
FPT University students with their supporting lecturers performed the Vietnamese traditional musical instruments to expressing the spirit of cooperation and mark the connection with the 10-year celebration of Indonesia Vietnam Strategic Partnership.

The Vietnam – Malaysia cultural exchange program
Not does stopping playing Vietnamese traditional musical instruments in the lecture hall, FPT University students are extending the love of traditional music to the community. They are playing musical instruments at a series of national-scale art playgrounds and performing and interacting with international friends such as the United States, Korea, Indonesia, and so on. Recently, the delegation of FPT University student participated in performing traditional musical instruments at the Vietnam – Malaysia cultural exchange program to promote the country’s art and culture.
The FPT University students’ performance with melodies and rhythms of traditional musical instruments (Bamboo flute, zither, lute, and so on) performed attracted many participants, including Vietnamese and Indonesia young people. In the image of wearing a turban and ao dai, the students have transformed into talented artists, marking the cultural colors of their homeland and conveying the message of friendship to Malaysian friends.
Malaysia and Vietnam have become important partners in terms of tourism, educational cooperation and people-to-people exchange. The regular exchange of visits at all levels between the two nations signals stronger bilateral relationship in the future.
