General Regulations

This scholarship is not applicable together with any other tuition fee incentive offered by FPT University, except for:

A 30% tuition fee incentive for candidates from Priority Area 1 graduating from high school in 2026;
Tuition fee incentives for FPT employees or children of FPT employees;
Tuition fee incentives for learners affiliated with FPT Education Organization (the total value of scholarships and tuition fee incentives granted at the initial admission stage shall not exceed 100% of the tuition fees payable).

Scholarship retention requirements

Students are required to maintain a GPA of at least 7.0/10 while studying at FPT University.

Notes

Achievements used for scholarship consideration must have been obtained within three years prior to the application submission date.
The living allowance is provided only during the official period of study and does not apply during deferred study or course repetition.

I. Excellence Scholarship

The Excellence Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship under the Nguyen Van Dao Scholarship – Vietnam Digital Era Talent Search Program of FPT University.

This scholarship is designed for outstanding high school students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, outstanding strategic thinking, strong leadership qualities, and the aspiration to create a positive impact on the community and society.

Beyond covering full tuition fees and providing comprehensive financial support, the Excellence Scholarship offers a personalized development pathway through mentorship from senior executives, opportunities for research and innovation, and study and working experiences in a global environment.

It serves as a launchpad for outstanding individuals who are ready to become future leaders in the digital era.

1. Priority Orientation and Competency Profile

This scholarship gives priority to Grade 12 students with outstanding academic performance who demonstrate exceptional potential in academic excellence, strategic thinking, leadership qualities, and the aspiration to create a positive impact on the community and society.

3. Scope and Eligibility

Scope

Applicable to all majors.

Eligibility and criteria

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

Winning first, second, or third prize in the national or international excellent student competition nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training, or achieving a SAT score of at least 1430;
Demonstrating outstanding academic competence, strategic thinking, and leadership qualities through supporting documents, including evidence of serving as a founder, leader, or key member of projects, clubs, or startup initiatives;
Submitting a video of no more than two minutes or a personal statement presenting the candidate’s vision and mission in alignment with the objectives of the program;
Demonstrating outstanding performance in the interview (if selected for the interview round).

4. Scholarship Benefits

This scholarship offers the following benefits:

Covers full tuition fees for the entire program;
Provides a living allowance of VND 5,000,000 per month for up to 48 months;
Direct mentoring from C-level executives within the program’s partner network;
An FPT Elite Access Card for participation in five Leader Talk programs with senior executives of FPT Corporation;
Access to NVIDIA AI Factory premium learning resources;
Support for participation in up to three international study programs or learning experiences, either selected by students or organized by the program, with a total equivalent value of up to VND 150,000,000 (not paid directly in cash);
Support of up to VND 100,000,000 for implementing personal projects or innovative ideas;
Priority in selecting internship locations at FPT Corporation’s global offices and partner organizations.

II. Technology Excellence Scholarship

The Technology Excellence Scholarship is designed for outstanding high school students with a strong passion for technology and the aspiration to excel in strategic fields such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Science or Cybersecurity and Digital Security.

Beyond covering full tuition fees and providing comprehensive financial support, the Technology Excellence Scholarship offers a personalized development pathway through mentorship from technology experts, opportunities for research and innovation, and study and working experiences in a global environment.

It serves as a launchpad for outstanding individuals who are ready to become future technology experts and leaders in the digital era.

1. Priority Orientation and Competency Profile

This scholarship gives priority to Grade 12 students with strong competence and a passion for technology who aspire to pursue specialized study in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science or Cybersecurity and Digital Security.

3. Scope and Eligibility

Scope

Applicable to the Honors Bachelor’s Program in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Cybersecurity and Digital Security).

Eligibility and criteria

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

Winning first, second, or third prize in the national or international excellent student competition nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Informatics); or winning official prizes in national technology or STEM competitions; or achieving a SAT score of at least 1430;
Submitting a video of no more than two minutes or a personal statement presenting the candidate’s vision and development goals in alignment with the objectives of the scholarship;
Demonstrating outstanding performance in the interview (if selected for the interview round).

4. Scholarship Benefits

This scholarship offers the following benefits:

Covers full tuition fees for the entire program;
Provides a living allowance of VND 3,000,000 per month for up to 48 months;
Direct mentoring from technology experts of FPT Corporation and its global partner network;

Beyond providing 50% to 100% tuition fee support for the entire program, the Technology Warrior Scholarship offers a personalized development pathway through mentorship from technology experts, opportunities to participate in research and development activities, and internship and working experiences within FPT Corporation and its global partner network.

It serves as a launchpad for outstanding individuals who are ready to become future technology engineers and innovators in the digital era.

Applicable to the following majors:

Information Technology: Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Data Science, Information Assurance, Integrated Circuit Design, Automotive Software Engineering, Information Systems, Digital Art & Design;
Computer Science: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Cybersecurity and Digital Security.

Eligibility and criteria

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

Achieving a Grade 10 average score, Grade 11 average score, and Grade 12 first-semester average score of 8.5 or above; or achieving a Grade 10 average score, Grade 11 average score, and Grade 12 first-semester average score of 7.5 or above, and being a member of the provincial or municipal excellent student team, or winning official prizes in provincial or municipal technology or STEM competitions, or achieving a SAT score of at least 1380;
Submitting a video of no more than two minutes or a personal statement presenting the candidate’s personal development goals, logical thinking, passion for science and technology, and determination to take on challenges;
Demonstrating outstanding performance in the interview (if selected for the interview round).

4. Scholarship Benefits

This scholarship offers the following benefits:

Covers 50% to 100% of tuition fees for the entire program;
Direct mentoring from technology experts of FPT Corporation and its partner network;
Support of up to VND 100,000,000 for implementing technology projects;
Priority access to research and development (R&D) projects and advanced technology laboratories;

IV. Entrepreneurship Talent Scholarship

The Entrepreneurship Talent Scholarship is designed for outstanding high school students with innovative ideas, startup projects, or practical solutions, and the aspiration to transform their ideas into products, business models, or future startups.

Beyond providing 50% to 100% tuition fee support for the entire program, the Entrepreneurship Talent Scholarship offers a personalized development pathway through mentorship from entrepreneurship experts, opportunities for innovation and project implementation, and participation in entrepreneurship programs within the FPT ecosystem.

It serves as a launchpad for outstanding individuals who are ready to become future entrepreneurs and innovators in the digital era.

This scholarship gives priority to Grade 12 students with innovative ideas or startup projects who aspire to develop products, business models, or practical solutions.

Achieving a Grade 10 average score, Grade 11 average score, and Grade 12 first-semester average score of 8.5 or above; or achieving a Grade 10 average score, Grade 11 average score, and Grade 12 first-semester average score of 7.5 or above, and being a member of the provincial or municipal excellent student team, or achieving a SAT score of at least 1380;
Demonstrating innovation potential through a startup idea, an applied research project, or experience participating in entrepreneurship or STEM competitions;
Submitting a video of no more than two minutes or a personal statement presenting the candidate’s vision, personal development goals, and entrepreneurial mindset;
Demonstrating outstanding performance in the interview (if selected for the interview round).

Covers 50% to 100% of tuition fees for the entire program;

V. Young Leaders Scholarship

The Young Leaders Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship of FPT University designed for outstanding high school students who actively participate in extracurricular and community activities and demonstrate strong leadership potential and the ability to inspire and lead others.

Beyond providing 50% to 100% tuition fee support for the entire program, the Young Leaders Scholarship offers a personalized development pathway through leadership development, mentorship from senior executives of FPT Corporation and its partner network, and opportunities to implement personal and community projects.

It serves as a launchpad for outstanding individuals who are ready to become future leaders and create a positive impact on the community and society in the digital era.

The Generation Resilience Scholarship is designed for outstanding high school students who demonstrate perseverance, determination, continuous academic excellence despite challenging circumstances, and the aspiration to create a positive impact on the community and society.

Beyond providing 50% to 100% tuition fee support for the entire program, the Generation Resilience Scholarship offers a personalized development pathway through leadership development, mentorship, and opportunities to connect with leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, social organizations, and inspiring individuals in Vietnam and around the world.

It serves as a launchpad for outstanding individuals whose resilience is strengthened, aspirations are empowered, and leadership potential is developed to create lasting value for the community and society.
