Supporting the mental health of its own workforce is written into how FPT University runs, not treated as a side benefit. The university gives every member of staff and faculty access to a standing policy commitment, free and confidential counseling, and a recurring calendar of programs built to actively promote good mental health at work.
1. A Standing Policy Commitment to Staff Mental Health and Well-being
Access to mental health support at FPT University is not limited to students. FPT University treats mental health as a core part of workplace health and sustainable performance, not an informal courtesy. Chapter IV, Article 23 of its sustainable development policies clearly state that the institution commits to “mental health and well-being support for staff, lecturers, and students”, giving every employee a documented right to professional psychological support, stress-management resources, and mental wellness programs.

FPT University consistently prioritizes well-being and mental support for its staff, lecturers, and faculty.
That commitment is carried out jointly by the Human Resources Department and the Well-being Department, and is built into the university’s staff development and occupational health frameworks rather than run as a stand-alone initiative.
2. Keeping Mental Health Support Active for Staff: Health Webinars and On-Campus Workshops
Beyond one-on-one counseling, FPT University keeps its promotion of good staff mental health active through a recurring calendar of programs rather than one-off events. Online, the university periodically brings in outside health and psychology specialists to run wellness webinars for its office-based staff and faculty, giving employees free access to expert guidance on stress, stroke and everyday wellbeing without needing to leave their desks.

Online webinars on wellness and mental health were organized exclusively for FPT Education staff.
In person, that same commitment takes the shape of “Thứ 6 Zui Khoẻ” (Happy Healthy Friday), a recurring program held at the end of each work week across FPT Education campuses nationwide, giving staff, lecturers, and employees free health consultations and physiotherapy that rotate through different focus areas such as the neck-shoulder-back region and the lower back and waist. From February to July 2025, 10 sessions were held with a total 828 participants. Satisfaction was just as strong, averaging close to 94% across the sessions that recorded feedback, and every session that tracked the question found 100% of participating staff wanting the program to continue.

The “Happy Healthy Friday” series of physical and mental well-being activities is welcomed by a large number of FPT Education staff members.
3. Whole-Person Wellbeing: Annual Health Checks, Mindfulness and Retreats
FPT University backs its mental health commitment with recurring, fully-funded physical wellbeing programs. Every March and September, the university subsidizes 100% of a comprehensive annual health check for all faculty and staff, covering a full medical consultation, risk screening, and preventive health advice.

FPT Education staff have annual general health check-ups and medical expenses covered by FPT Care insurance plan.
Alongside that, FPT Education has built five dedicated mindfulness rooms across its campuses where staff can practice on-site. In addition, the Well-being Department has run an intensive mindfulness retreat program — one of the university’s flagship staff well-being initiatives since 2022 — under the theme “The art of mindful living”. Each edition removes participants from work entirely for seven days so they can rest and recover. To date, the program has completed 15 editions with more than 750 total attendees, including 196 staff members in 2025 alone.

Intensive retreats were organized to support the mental well-being of FPT Education staff.
Furthermore, in 2023, the Well-being Department officially launched the “Well-being IN ACTION” program. The initiative aims to train 100% of incoming middle and high school students, along with teachers across FPT Education’s institutions, to practice emotional awareness. Through this, empathy, connection, and gratitude gradually become a natural part of campus life. In the 2025–2026 academic year, the program already reached 542 teachers and 2,346 students across multiple grade levels.

The “Well-being IN ACTION” aims to help teachers and students at FPT Education identify their emotions.
4. A Supportive, Confidential Everyday Culture
FPT University backs these formal programs with a working culture built around empathy and flexibility. Managers receive training in mental health awareness and supportive leadership, while flexible working hours, hybrid arrangements, and family leave policies give staff room to manage pressure before it becomes a crisis. Staff can also raise concerns, including mental health concerns, anonymously through the internal iNghe communication platform, with all personal and health information kept strictly confidential.

The iNghe platform – encouraging FPT employees to speak up their minds.
Conclusion:
Together, a documented policy commitment, free and confidential counseling open to every employee, a recurring calendar of wellness workshops and webinars, fully subsidized health checks, mindfulness facilities and retreats, and a supportive everyday culture show that FPT University gives its staff and faculty real, ongoing access to mental health support.
