Official dispatch No 203/NHCLTHT dated October 5th, 2022 by Tran Huu Trang Cai Luong Theater on Introducing traditional music performances to Ho Chi Minh City schools.

Content of dispatch: FPT University is cooperating with Tran Huu Trang Cai Luong Theater to perform traditional Vietnamese music and theatre in primary, secondary, and high schools in the city.
Detail of project (Each session lasts 60 minutes):

FPT University is performing and introducing traditional musical instruments and music
Tran Huu Trang Cai Luong Theater is performing and introducing Don Ca Tai Tu (Southern Amateur Music) and Cai Luong (reformed opera).

+ FPT University is proposed to contribute to local arts, especially from 12 to 20 annual performances in the last 3 months of 2022.

+ FPT University is proposed to contribute to local arts, especially more than 30 performances in 2023

Avenue: Primary, secondary, and high schools in the city

Achievements

At FPT University Hanoi campus

FPT University and Hanoi Youth Union have implemented the community project “Introducing Vietnamese traditional musical instruments to high school students” to foster and transmit traditional values to the Young. The instruments were first introduced at Truong Dinh and Ly Thuong Kiet high schools in Hanoi.

Time: March 26th, 2022

Teachers and students of FPT University in Ho Chi Minh City performed traditional songs such as Trong com, Ly cay da, Dong Mau Lac Hong, etc, and modern songs such as Hoa Hai Duong (Jack), Fly away, etc, which created positive effects for introducing ethnic musical instruments to high schools.
