Community Project “Introducing Vietnamese Traditional Musical Instruments to High School students” at FPT University (more than 10 high schools)
This community project fosters and transmits traditional values to the Young, especially students at the surrounding high schools. Vietnamese traditional musical instruments are first introduced in high schools. Then, classes are opened to teach them how to play these instruments and how to enjoy traditional music in the best way. So far, we have reached more than 10 high schools in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and Danang.

Exhibition “Cung Dan Dat Nuoc (Traditional Musical Instruments)” and public performances from guests and FPT University’s lecturers and students
“Cung Dan Dat Nuoc (Traditional Musical Instruments)” exhibition – the journey back to traditional cultural music of FPT University students. Participants can visit Vietnamese traditional musical instruments exhibitions such as dan tranh, dan nguyet, Vietnamese bamboo flute, etc; enjoy performances by guests and FPT University’s lecturers and students.

Chi Chi Chanh Chanh – A special cultural week at FPT University in Ho Chi Minh City
Chi Chi Chanh Chanh Cultural Week takes place from September 5 to September 10, 2022, and is organized by Saigon Toad Media Club. The week offers students new cultural perspectives and engaging experiences with outstanding satellite activities. It includes the Vietnamese costume festival, the “National Color Thien Huong” Exhibition, a Childhood experience workshop, Talkshow “Culture is not empty”, and the Fashion show “Scent of a Thousand Years”.

FPT Edu Tich Tich Tinh Tang – A traditional musical instrument competition for all students
In May 2022, FPT Education opened registration for the first season of the traditional musical instrument performance competition named FPT Edu Tich Tich Tinh Tang. The contest promises to bring engaging cultural experiences and opportunities to learn and interact with many famous artists.
In addition, the contestants will get experiences from mentors who are instructors of ethnic musical instruments, many traditional musical instrument artists, or units accompanying the competition such as the Vietnam Musicians’ Association, Vietnam National Academy of Music, and Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts.
FPT Edu Tich Tinh Tang also organizes many events such as the “Dong chay” music night. Through each event, FPT Edu students, staff, and lecturers have more experience with music and national culture and understand more about each musical instrument and each folk song. Therefore, FPT Edu people have more opportunities to love the traditional culture of the nation. FPT Edu Tich Tich Tinh Tang is really a meaningful activity, aiming at preserving classic beauty, and spreading the love for national art and music.

F Sound – An annual traditional musical instrument performance competition
F-Sounds is a contest for performing traditional musical instruments organized by the Soft Skills Department of FPT University. This is a useful and equal contest for all students. FPT University students can learn traditional musical instruments as an official subject in order to understand and preserve traditional music.

Open Day/Super Big Open Day
Super Big Open Day is an opportunity for high school students to learn and experience the environment of FPT University. At this event, students can experience a series of interesting activities such as visiting the FPT University campus, interacting with friends and family, exploring FPT University Student Clubs, and enjoying creative and unique games and public performances.

Tinh “Tu” Show – An annual music concert at FPT University Hanoi campus
Music night “Tinh Tu” was organized by International Cooperation & Personal Development Program Department in collaboration with FPTU – Melody Club, exclusively for students of FPT University in Hanoi. “Tinh Tu” is both the meaning of love and shows all the love in 4 seasons. This show is organized by the students themselves. This is the difference between FPT University when it always focuses on and creates favorable conditions for students to promote their soft skills and develop comprehensively in a young and dynamic learning environment.

FPTU Talent Show is an annual talent search event organized by FPT University. This is an equal and rewarding playground, creating conditions for FPT students to express and discover themselves as well as conquer different challenges.

FUDA Music Show
“Big open day – FUDA MUSIC SHOW,” a large-scale music concert, was organized at FPT University Da Nang on June 12 in 2022 with the intention of creating a music playground for interactions between the artist community and young people.

Hola Vibes will bring a new experience to FPT University students to spend a colorful and emotional weekend together. It is a music show in the series of activities to welcome K17 new students – will be a great weekend stop for the Youth.

Dau Truong Vo Nhac – The intersection of Vietnamese martial art, music, and dance
The “Dau Truong Vo Nhac” event is organized to create an equal and useful playground for students to practice Vovinam, improve their health, create a cohesive community of students, and showcase their talents. This event also helps FPT university students express and preserve traditional values and connect martial arts, music, and dance in the best way.
