Chapter 1. Land for construction
Our mission to bring affordable quality education to the provinces and cities of Vietnam is closely linked to opening schools and building new campuses locally. The land for building campuses is land that is granted/leased, land designated for education, in compliance with Vietnamese laws and local regulations regarding school construction land. Our construction land is not agricultural land, not used for farming, not part of forests and forest conservation, and not land where people currently reside. Construction land is brown land that has been reclaimed and newly developed.
Chapter 2. Green design standards
Campuses and buildings of FPTU are designed according to green design standards.
Regarding planning and architecture:
Create a modern, friendly, clean, beautiful, distinctive, and unique educational environment.
Architectural spatial layout should have rhythm and appropriate transitions in architectural forms, with reasonable building heights between functional areas and the inclusion of landmark structures.
Organize landscaping spaces in harmony with the development of infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on the main axis and open spaces.
Efficiently use land to preserve a comprehensive green cover.
Chapter 3. Green materials
Local materials, recycled materials, materials with recycled content.
Materials that have good solar reflectivity.
High-efficiency lighting fixtures.
High-efficiency ventilation and HVAC equipment.
Water-efficient fixtures and equipment.
Materials that provide acoustic comfort.
Various types of green materials have been used, and certificates are provided as evidence of their sustainability.
Plasterboard: Vinh Tuong
Wall paint: Dulux
Chapter 4. Green construction standards.
Green construction standards in Vietnam include various regulations and standards to ensure sustainable and environmentally friendly building practices. Some of the key standards and regulations related to green construction in Vietnam are:
QCVN 01_BXD_ Planning and construction standards.
QCVN 02_BXD_ – Natural data standards.
QCVN 06_BXD_ Fire safety standards for buildings and structures.
QCVN 09_BXD_ – Energy-efficient construction standards.
QCVN 10_BXD_ – Accessibility standards for people with disabilities.
Various other related standards.
In addition to these national standards, there are also specific construction standards for educational facilities, climate mitigation, access for people with disabilities, and sports facility design, among others. These standards aim to ensure that construction in Vietnam is carried out in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.
It’s essential to refer to the relevant standards and guidelines issued by related industry organizations to ensure that construction projects in Vietnam meet the necessary green and sustainability criteria.
Chapter 5. Consultation from specialized partners on green construction and architecture.
