Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Visits FPT University

On the afternoon of June 5, FPT University Hanoi was honored to welcome Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet, along with heads of Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad for the 2024–2027 term, as part of a working program with leading educational institutions in Vietnam.

The visit marked an important opportunity for FPT University to introduce to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese diplomatic representatives its modern educational model, which emphasizes practical training and deep international integration. It also served as a platform for the university to share its outstanding achievements in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation—key focus areas that FPT University is committed to pursuing in order to contribute to the development of a high-quality global workforce for the nation.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured the university’s learning and student activity spaces, including lecture halls and the fitness complex—highlighting the dynamic and creative learning spirit of FPT University students.

This visit demonstrated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ strong interest in higher education and carried special significance for FPT University. It not only acknowledged the university’s pioneering educational model but also served as a vital bridge to enhance collaboration with Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad. Through this global diplomatic network, FPT University will have greater opportunities to expand international cooperation, develop student exchange programs, internships, research initiatives, and global business connections, thereby improving the quality of education in line with international standards.

The visit concluded in a respectful and open atmosphere, leaving a lasting positive impression and strong expectations for a deeper connection between education and diplomacy in the new era of integration. At the end of the visit, the delegation received a symbolic gift—a rolled-paper artwork featuring FPT University’s mascot, the Cóc (Toad), playing a traditional musical instrument. The gift embodies cultural identity, national spirit, and the unique characteristics of the university.
