Since 2019, FPT University has issued a policy titled “Education for SDGs” as outlined in its Sustainability Policy – Chapter VIII, Article 35.
This policy commits to integrating sustainable development principles into all educational programs, fostering a generation of graduates who can contribute to solving global challenges in line with the United Nations’ SDGs.
Key initiatives include:
- Integrating sustainable development content into existing courses and programs.
- Developing new courses or programs focused on sustainability.
- Encouraging interdisciplinary approaches to teaching sustainability.
- Engaging students in experiential learning opportunities, such as community projects, internships, or research related to sustainability.
FPT University is committed to providing meaningful education on SDGs in 40% of the courses in the program.
There are at least two courses on sustainable development required for all students:
- Including content on healthcare education and public health during the initial month of intensive military training and experience, which is mandatory for all students.
- Integrating the 17 Sustainable Development Goals into the orientation course OTP 101 for all students.
