This is the affirmation of Dean at FPT Education Global – Ms. Hien Nguyen in the latest interview on FEG’s journey in 2021 and its orientation in 2022.
Q: Can you share with us about your center’s slogan “Your journey starts here”?
A: We’ve been determined towards this mission since the establishment of FPT Education Global. Knowing that global experience is important yet not easy for all, especially those who’ve never had the chance to go abroad, we want to provide students with a journey in Vietnam with friendly buddies and coordinators from FPT. From such a very first step, students become more confident and experienced to challenge themselves with more journeys in their future.
Q: How does FPT Education Global see the role of globalization strategy?
A: We are living in a flat world, connecting with people is not limited to just one province or one country. Our students need more than that, they need to be exposed to the new environment, step outside their comfort zone, learn more and become wiser, more empathetic and tolerant as a global citizens. Globalization strategy is a must for FPT University, as a result; and I believe that it serves the same purposes for many other universities and institutions.
Q: Can you share about the job opportunities for international students in Vietnam? Does FPT Education have any policies to support international students finding jobs?
A: Vietnam has been experiencing a high growth rate over the years with rapid infrastructure development. This fact together with a flexible policy makes our country very attractive for foreign investors. As a result, job prospects for expats in Vietnam are brighter; especially in industries requiring skilled workforces such as Information Technology or Tourism.
In order to support international students to find jobs in Vietnam, FPT Education provides the opportunity for students to expose themselves to the working environment and culture during their On-The-Job training period. We also support students in extending their visas during their job search in Vietnam after their graduation and promote job opportunities from our industry partners so that students can start their careers in Vietnam.
Q: Does FPT Education Global have any specific plan for 2022?
A: In 2022, we will continue our globalization with 02 main focuses on students’ growth experience and diverse-culture environment. For the former, we are dedicated to creating well-designed programs and activities that could bring more experience helping them to learn from the real world hence, reflect and develop their self-development path. For the latter, we will expand our network with partners around the world, hoping to invite students from many different parts of the world to Vietnam and create for international students as well as Vietnamese students a truly global environment, both workable for virtual or offline mode.
