FPT University HCM organized the first scientific research conference of IT and Economics students at Innovation Hall.
According to Tran Ngoc Tuan, Vice Rector of FPT University, the event was a bridge between the creativity of youth and the expertise of experts, helping turn ideas into reality.
5 teams working on Customer behaviour in focus: a case study of Tiki Vietnam; A study on perceived benefits in E-commerce: case study on HCMC; Engineer a remote code execution system: a sandboxing approach using Docker’s container technology and Building material C2b website) spent 20 – 30 minutes introducing and demonstrating their products.
The judges focused on how the teams assessed the applicability. Criteria were based on creativity, reasoning, feasibility, easy-to-understand etc.
The team with the app named Automatic Alternative Image Recognition to Voice won the first prize worth VND 3 million in cash.
The representative of the team developing Automatic Alternative Image Recognition to Voice said that the idea was produced by their teacher Kiều Trọng Khánh and the team developed it. Some companies want to buy this product, but the team is considering whether to sell it or co-work with them to better it.
This scientific research conference aims to enable students to report their research results to FPT University’s council; then encouraging and promoting scientific research activities of students.
