On May 24, FPT University will kick off the ASEAN–China–India Youth Leadership Summit 2025 (ACIYLS), offering students the opportunity to engage in an international environment and learn from pioneering young leaders.
Founded by OSG Youth Alliances — a social organization based in Singapore — ACIYLS aims to nurture a network of globally minded and entrepreneurial young individuals. The competition is designed to promote cross-cultural understanding, sustainability, and empowerment of future leaders, sparking positive change and igniting a passion for innovation to elevate quality of life and foster a brighter, greener future.
The ACIYLS 2025 kick-off event will take place at 2:30 PM on May 24 in Ho Chi Minh City. It will provide FPT University students with deeper insights into the competition, which gathers over 8,000 enthusiastic young participants from across Asia. Students will have the chance to connect, exchange valuable knowledge and experiences, and grow within a vibrant community of emerging young leaders.
At the event, participants will explore the main theme of ACIYLS 2025, which centers on two global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 13 – Climate Action. Attendees will also be equipped with detailed information about the competition structure, transparent evaluation criteria, and insider tips from top performers of previous seasons on how to shine on the international stage.
A key highlight of the event is an inspiring sharing session featuring two prominent Vietnamese guest speakers — young professionals who have made remarkable strides and established their presence on the international stage.
The first speaker, Ms. Phuong Huynh, representing FPT University, is a distinguished alumna of the University College Dublin Master’s program, where she studied under the Irish Government Scholarship. She is also a YSEALI Professional Fellow (U.S. Department of State) and an ASEAN–India Leadership Fellow. Notably, she was named among the Top 5 globally at the Microsoft AI for Accessibility Hackathon. Her diverse experiences and global perspectives promise to ignite strong motivation among students.
Joining her is Ms. Lucy Phan, Head of North American Business at Gremsy, a leading Vietnamese company in the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) industry. She is currently leading Gremsy’s business strategy in North America — a market that contributes over 50% of the company’s global revenue. Lucy is a former participant of the Chief Customer Officer program at PACE Institute and has extensive experience in developing B2B strategies across more than 50 countries. Her practical insights on leadership, international business development, and strategic planning are expected to offer valuable lessons for students with ambitions to go global.
In addition to knowledge and inspiration, the ACIYLS 2025 kick-off event will also present attractive gifts to the five most engaged students. Prizes include a convenient notebook set, a limited-edition sticker pack with the event’s branding, an eco-friendly green stationery kit, and a discount voucher worth up to one million VND for an IELTS 24H course — an essential preparation for those aiming to join international competitions.
ACIYLS seeks young leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset and ecological management skills — individuals who are ready to face challenges and break through their personal limits
2025 marks the third consecutive year ACIYLS has been held. In 2024, the competition centered on the theme “Reimagine: Eco-Cities”, focusing on two key Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.
More than just a competition, ACIYLS 2025 promises to be a meaningful journey for FPT University students — one that fosters comprehensive leadership skills, expands international networks, and empowers them to become part of a dynamic community of young leaders who are innovative, responsible, and driven to reach new heights in the future.
