To help students gain clear direction for their startup ideas, FPT University recently organized a talkshow titled “Choosing a Startup Idea.”
The talkshow on “Choosing a Startup Idea” attracted participation from over 800 FPT University students.
The speaker of the talkshow was Mr. Le Anh Tien – CEO of Vietnam Chatbot Technology Joint Stock Company. During the event, Mr. Tien shared his entrepreneurial experiences and offered invaluable advice for students considering starting their own businesses. In addition to insights on choosing startup ideas, he provided practical experiences and useful tips.
The talkshow garnered significant interest from many students, especially those passionate about entrepreneurship and eager to learn more about selecting startup ideas. Many students expressed their appreciation for the valuable knowledge shared during the event.
Students expressed great interest in the startup topics presented and discussed by the speaker. Master Đong Quin, a lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Development department at FPT University, noted that the talkshow helped students better understand the process of choosing a startup idea, how to evaluate whether a startup idea has potential, as well as the risks and opportunities involved in entrepreneurship.
Following the talkshow, Dr. Phan Gia Hoang, the head of the organizing committee, praised the active participation of students, particularly during the discussions and exchanges regarding startup-related issues. He emphasized that entrepreneurship is not just about creating a new product or service, but also involves various factors such as seeking partners, managing finances, marketing, and market development.
Dr. Hoang also highlighted the importance of building a network within the startup community, which can create support and motivation for developing ideas and achieving success in the entrepreneurial journey.
“The most important takeaway is that the talkshow provided students with a comprehensive view of the entrepreneurship process and helped them gain valuable knowledge, experiences, and advice for choosing and developing their ideas,” Dr. Phan Gia Hoang stated.
