On May 24, FPT University signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with five major logistics companies, aiming to expand learning and career opportunities for its students.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of the Vietnam Association for Logistics Manpower Development (VALOMA). Participating enterprises included Vitranimex Joint Stock Company, Xuan Cuong Friendship Joint Stock Company, VINAFCO Joint Stock Company, Bac Giang International Logistics Center, and Asia Pacific Logistics and Transportation Joint Stock Company.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Khac Thanh — President of FPT University — emphasized that this was not merely a signing of cooperation but a long-term commitment to building a holistic ecosystem of learning, real-world experience, and employment.
“Students will gain early exposure to real industry practices, allowing them to develop competencies aligned with market demands,” he added.
Logistics is among the fastest-growing industries and plays a critical role in the global supply chain. However, Vietnam still faces a shortage of high-quality human resources in this field. In response, FPT University has strategically developed a specialized training program aligned with market needs and directly linked to leading businesses.
Through these partnerships, students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on internships within the professional environments of top logistics enterprises. This allows them to sharpen technical skills, build a professional mindset, and adapt to the increasingly rigorous expectations of the labor market.
FPT University believes that collaborating with leading enterprises is a practical approach to exposing students to real-world applications, updating them on the latest technologies and processes, and ultimately increasing their post-graduation employment prospects. The agreements also pave the way for direct recruitment of outstanding students, while offering diverse scholarship opportunities to foster academic excellence and creativity.
Beyond training, the partners will co-organize expert seminars, career forums, and professional orientation programs throughout the academic journey. Industry experts will join as guest speakers and academic advisors, serving as a bridge between academia and the labor market and offering students a more comprehensive and practical view of their chosen profession.
