On May 24, FPT University signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with five prominent logistics enterprises, aiming to broaden academic and career prospects for its students.
The signing ceremony took place under the witness of the Vietnam Association for Logistics Manpower Development (VALOMA). The enterprises involved in the partnership include Vitranimex JSC, Xuan Cuong Friendship JSC, VINAFCO JSC, Bac Giang International Logistics Center, and Asia Pacific Logistics and Transportation JSC.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Khac Thanh – Rector of FPT University – emphasized that this cooperation goes beyond a typical agreement and represents a long-term commitment to building an integrated ecosystem of learning, experience, and employment.
“Students will be exposed early to real-world industry practices, allowing them to develop capabilities aligned with market demands,” he noted.
Logistics is among the fastest-growing sectors and plays a vital role in the global supply chain. However, Vietnam still faces a shortage of high-quality professionals in this field. In response, FPT University has strategically designed its training programs to closely align with market needs and directly link with industry leaders.
Thanks to this approach, students will gain hands-on experience through internships within professional working environments of top logistics firms. These internships help sharpen specialized skills while cultivating a professional work ethic and mindset—critical factors for meeting the increasingly demanding labor market.
FPT University sees collaboration with leading companies as a practical way for students to access real-world knowledge, stay updated on new technologies and processes, and improve their employability upon graduation. The agreement also creates direct recruitment pathways for outstanding students and establishes a diverse scholarship system to promote academic excellence and creativity.
Alongside academic training, the parties will jointly organize workshops, career forums, and orientation programs. Industry experts will serve as guest speakers and academic advisors, acting as a bridge between the university and the labor market, offering students a more practical and multidimensional understanding of their chosen professions.
The companies also committed to supporting FPT University in training, research, and student development, considering this partnership an effective channel to identify and nurture future talent for long-term growth.
Bui Van Long – General Director of Vitranimex JSC – affirmed the company’s emphasis on developing a high-quality workforce, which he described as the cornerstone of sustainable business development. Partnering with reputable institutions like FPT University is, he stated, a strategic move.
“This agreement brings tangible benefits to both parties. It provides us with access to talented interns who can experience real-world work environments and, ideally, join us on our long-term development journey,” he said.
Additionally, during the ceremony, participating companies acknowledged and praised the quality of human resources trained by FPT University, especially the students’ adaptability and quick assimilation into professional environments.
