Over 7,000 high school and university students, along with music lovers from across the Mekong Delta, came together for an unforgettable night of emotions and excitement at FPTU Fest — the region’s largest-scale music festival hosted by FPT University.
On the evening of May 11, the vibrant stage at FPT University’s Can Tho campus lit up with performances from a lineup of talented Vietnamese artists, including Hoa Minzy, Quang Hung MasterD, Duong Domic, Hai Dang Doo, and Gemini Hung Huynh. Their energetic and captivating acts set the crowd ablaze, as thousands of attendees sang, danced, and cheered in unison, immersed in the high-octane spirit of the festival.
Miss Vietnam Nation 2024 Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy — a K17 English Language student at FPT University — also stole hearts with her sweet vocal performance. Sharing the stage were rising young voices such as Hooligan, LyHan, Hype Minh Nhat, and DJ Le Bao, who further fired up the atmosphere.
More than just an entertainment event, FPTU Fest delivered a one-of-a-kind experience for thousands of young people, complete with a grand stage, professional sound and lighting systems, and a host of exciting gifts. Through the theme “Turn up the mood, burn with passion”, FPT University sent a powerful message: live to the fullest, dare to dream big, and keep conquering new heights — so that youth is not merely something that passes by, but a radiant journey of passion and courage.
A standout aspect of FPTU Fest was the active involvement of FPT University students, both onstage and behind the scenes. They weren’t just spectators — they took part in organizing, managing logistics, and confidently sharing the spotlight with well-known performers. This served as a clear embodiment of FPT University’s hands-on educational philosophy, which emphasizes practical experience and fosters well-rounded personal development.
With the message “Experience to succeed”, FPT University prioritizes extracurricular activities alongside strong academic training. FPTU Fest created opportunities for students to immerse themselves in a wide range of experiences — from academics to the arts, from lecture halls to real-life practice. The university promotes dynamic thinking and adaptability, while empowering students to boldly pursue their passions and push beyond personal limits.
Beyond the electric performances, FPTU Fest also featured special incentives for 2007-born students ranked in the Top 50 of SchoolRank who applied for admission to FPT University. In addition to free entry to the concert, these students received exclusive FPTU Fest gift sets and had the chance to explore the university’s attractive scholarship programs, flexible “Study First – Pay Later” policy, and a learning environment rich in real-world experiences.
