The FPT Edu NihongoEng Language Contest 2023 is coming back with the opportunity for FPT students to go to Japan and Malaysia

Following the success of the previous 3 seasons, the FPT Edu NihongoEng 2023 contest has officially come back with the theme “Kyoukai no Kanata – Beyond the Boundary”. The contest was opened with the desire to create a playground and a space to share valuable knowledge, skills and experiences for the FPT Edu student community in general, and especially passionate students in foreign languages ​​in particular.

In particular, the best 20 teams (Top 4 in each group) will be fully covered and participate in the Final Round of the competition in Japan and Malaysia.

  • Rules

  1. Each team consists of 02 contestants with the same competition table, each contestant can only participate in 01 team and 01 competition table (English or Japanese).
  2. Contestants participating in the contest will compete in the first round, which is held independently at each unit of FPT Education Organization.
  3. After the first round, each unit will select the Top 03 teams with the highest score to compete in the national semi-finals by region.
  4. Teams are not allowed to change the list of contestants after the first round.
  5. The top 4 in each group will be covered and participate in the final round (held at Japan and Malaysia).

  • Competition schedule (Year 2023)

  1. First Round: February 1st – March 15th
    Registration time: February 1st – February 27th
    Time to participate in the First Round before February 27, 2023 – March 7, 2023
    Note: When registering, the teams must have completed the first round exam
    Content: A group of students make a 3-5 minute clip with FullHD resolution (1080p), the content in the clip needs to be presented: Team name, team members and the team’s explanation of the topic. Contest title: Kyoukai no Kanata – Beyond the Boundary.

    If a student wants to join but has not found a group, please contact English teachera for assistance with grouping.
    Time for the Final Round: March 14, 2023 (tentative)
    Time to announce teams entering the Final Round of FPT Schools Danang campus: March 15, 2023
  2. National Semi-Final: March 30 – April 3
  3. Final round:
    In Japan: May 5 – May 9
    In Malaysia: April 14 – April 18

Contestants participating in the FPT Edu NihongoEng 2023 contest have the opportunity to win prizes with a total value of up to 200 million VND in cash:

  1. National Semi-Final: 500,000 VND/team
  2. Final round:
    First Prize: 10,000,000 VND
    Second Prize: 7,000,000 VND
    Third Prize: 5,000,000 VND
    Consolation Prize: 2,000,000 VND
    Sub-prize – The unit with the most teams: 3,000,000 VND
    Extra Prize – Youngest Team: 1,000,000 VND
    SPECIAL, the best 20 teams (Top 4 in each group) will be fully covered and participate in the Final Round of the competition in Japan and Malaysia.
