As a student at FPT University, encountering academic challenges is completely normal — whether it’s keeping up with coursework, understanding difficult subjects, or navigating academic procedures. To support students through such moments, FPT University has established a structured academic support system tailored to student needs.
This system is defined in Task 1.1 – Academic Support Services under the Quality Procedure for Student Life (Code: 08-QT/ĐH/HDCV/FE), in alignment with the ISO 21001:2018 standard for educational quality management.
Below are the academic support steps presented under the PDCA cycle – Plan, Do, Check, Act.
1. Plan – Planning academic support
From the start of each semester, the university prepares a full academic support plan for students at every campus, including a list of services, timelines, and assigned staff or departments.
Students can actively reach out for more academic support information through the contact details below:

2. Do – Implementing support services
During the learning process, if students face issues such as:
- Difficulty with a subject
- Unclear attendance score handling
- Need assistance in adjusting academic plans
… they only need to submit a request via the FAP system at https://fap.fpt.edu.vn or call the hotline 024 7308 1313. Students will receive support as follows: - Personalized consultation: helping students understand their issues and solutions
- Quick referrals to relevant departments such as Academic Affairs, Testing, and Academic Departments
- If students miss over 10% of sessions in a particular course, they will receive a warning email before being barred from taking the exam
All information is communicated transparently via the fanpage: https://www.facebook.com/CTSV.FU/ or through emails from the Student Relations/ Student Services Offices at:
📩 [email protected] / [email protected]
3. Check – Evaluation and student feedback
After receiving support, students will typically get:
- A satisfaction survey sent directly to their email by the Student Relations/ Student Services Offices to reflect on their experience
- Opportunities to give suggestions for additional academic services they may need
The university also organizes meetings across campuses to draw lessons learned and discuss how to improve student support.
This ensures that students are never “left behind” and are always heard and accompanied by the university in their learning journey.
4. Act – Improvement for the next semester
Based on student feedback, the university will improve the academic support plan for the following semester by:
- Adding new services
- Simplifying support procedures
- Enhancing response time and handling processes
This means that what students share will be recorded and used to enhance the academic support system for future cohorts — and the current students themselves will benefit from those improvements in the next semester.
