In 2014, FPT won 12 Sao Khue Awards. However, as member companies registered few products/services, FPT won only four ones.
The Sao Khue Award 2015 will be presented to 53 products and 16 services in the information technology sector. FPT’s member companies win 4 awards.
FPT University achieves 2 awards: full-time IT Training (FPT University, Polytechnic College) and part-time IT training (Aptech, Arena and Jetking).
FPT Telecom International (FTI) under FPT Telecom has Data Center service starred. With more than USD 135 million in revenue in 2014, FPT Software won software export service.
According to the Organizers, the 69 products and services were selected from 85 applications by a panel of experts from the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, research institutes, technologists and technology reporters. The five-star rating goes to a public transportation service.
The awards this year saw a trend of IT applications for handling hot issues such as healthcare, education, public administration and agriculture, besides accounting, human resources management and retail.
In addition, the trend of social, mobile, analytics and cloud (SMAC) has been welcomed and strongly developed in Viet Nam, as mobile phone applications have become popular in the country.
Initiated by the Viet Nam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) in 2003, Sao Khue Awards help enterprises not only get professional evaluations but also see market needs and trends, then decide suitable product/service development strategy. The program also made users have a better understanding of outstanding products/services, then promoting IT application in organizations, economic sectors, businesses and society.
Sao Khue Awards 2015 will take place at 10 a.m. on April 24 at S4 studio of VTC Digital Television at 65 Lac Trung, Hanoi.
