On April 22, 2024, FPT University Hanoi officially kicked off the ‘HoLa in Shot’ photography competition for FPT University Hanoi students. The competition will take place on May 11, 2024, with a large number of guests and participants expected to attend.
“HoLa in Shot” draws inspiration from the Canon Photomarathon competition
“The ‘Hola in Shot’ is the largest photography competition ever held at FPT University Hanoi, inspired by the renowned ‘Canon Photomarathon.’ Aimed at providing an engaging artistic playground for FPT University Hanoi students, ‘Hola in Shot’ is created with the following objectives: to provide a platform for students to express and develop their creativity, present new perspectives, unique ideas, and innovative approaches to conveying messages through imagery; to foster student community engagement and provide opportunities to explore photography and the surrounding world.
At ‘Hola in Shot,’ contestants will embark on a photography race to create unique artistic pieces within a predefined time frame. With the theme announced at the competition, individuals will have one hour to unleash their creativity in capturing photos within the FPT University – Hoa Lac Campus. After the free shooting period, contestants will submit their photo files at the organizers’ desk, and the final results will be announced at the end of the competition.

Venue: 30m Street – FPT University Hanoi ‘Hola in Shot’ consists of 2 independent competition categories, where contestants are free to choose and prepare their photography equipment:
Category A: Digital cameras Category B: Smartphones Each contestant is allowed to use only one photography device throughout the competition.

Along with numerous additional awards and attractive tangible prizes, there are also special gifts exclusively for all contestants who register for ‘Hola in Shot.'”

“The goal of the competition is to discover and honor meaningful moments and stories about life and people within the premises of FPT University Hanoi – Hoa Lac Campus through the lens of the contestants, who are individuals directly experiencing and closely bonded with this environment.
Additionally, the competition aims to mobilize the spirit and unity of the FPT Hanoi student community in communication and promotion efforts to showcase the image of the university: a dynamic learning environment with experienced students.
With the outlined objectives, the criteria for the submitted works include: creativity; clear message conveyance; authentic and vivid reflection of life and people at FPT University Hanoi – Hoa Lac Campus; adherence to the regulations set forth by the organizing committee during the creative process.
The competition will be widely promoted through various mass media channels and digital platforms of FPT University Hanoi specifically, and relevant media channels in general.”
