FPT University will be hosting the Conference of the Accreditation Council for American Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Region 10 at the Ho Chi Minh City campus in February 2024.
This is the first time for FPT University Ho Chi Minh City campus to ever host this event.
ACBSP Region 10 is a prestigious conference of the Accreditation Council for American Business Schools and Programs. The 2024 theme is “Be Extraordinary – Emerging Partnerships For Student Success” taking place on February 22-26, 2024.

The conference will focus on exchanging ideas, trends, and solutions to promote effective relationships and cooperation between universities, businesses, and society. The goal of the event is to increase students’ access to education, career experiences and success and at the same time innovate ways to use technology and take advantage of internationalization trends to provide effective learning experiences.
The ACBSP Region 10 Conference is expected to be attended by ACBSP senior leaders, researchers, lecturers, researchers, experts, students from schools and educational organizations that are ACBSP members or interested in ACBSP accreditation. Of which, region 10 includes 16 countries: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Afghanistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.
The main speakers at the two plenary sessions at the Conference are professors, business leaders and reputable economic experts from the US.
In addition to the ACBSP Council meeting and two plenary sessions, the ACBSP Region 10 Conference will spend most of its time on presentations and discussion sessions. Researchers and speakers who are lecturers, researchers, experts, and students registering to present need to submit a summary of their presentation report before October 15 and submit the full paper of their presentation before December 15, 2023 via this website. The presentation format follows international conference standards and those of ACBSP’s with the presentation language being English.
Papers presented at the conference will have a chance to win one of two excellent prizes in the categories “The Best of Region” for lecturers and researchers and “The Best Student Showcase” for students from ACBSP region 10 member schools.
The most prestigious award in the category “The Best of Region” will be presented and honored at the 2024 ACBSP Global Conference in Miami, USA. “The Best Student Showcase” award at Region 10 Conference will compete with “Student Showcase” awards from other regions. The top winning team or individual will also be presenting at the Miami conference. In addition, papers that meet publication criteria can be published in the ACBSP’s Transnational Journal of Business.
The conference is also an opportunity for experts, guests, and attendees to interact and connect with the academic community interested in education and create useful values for students. The event also includes experiential activities to explore the life and culture of the Mekong Delta.
ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) is an organization that accredits business degree training programs. The organization is present in 11 geographic regions across the world with more than 1,200 organization members with more than 13,000 individual members from 60 countries. ACBSP Region 10 represents South Asia, with responsibility for overseeing 16 countries and 51 member facilities within its jurisdiction.
FPT University became a member of ACBSP in 2016 and has achieved full ACBSP accreditation for the Business Administration program of the Hanoi campus since 2019. With positive activities for the organization, the university wants to make contributions in promoting the development of business education and the success of learners in a sustainable way.
